I just got back from India about 2 weeks ago. How our you doing? Back in school?
I just started school last week again and I'm getting pretty bored. Luckily, I got all these amazing ideas for recipes while I was in India to keep me busy. I just flushed out the first one and will be posting it up on our Roshi's website on Saturday.
Hi there, Nina. Thank you for your kind words! I LOVE the SF Bay area & I spend as much time there as I'm able. Cafe Gratitude is wonderful. However, I live all the way across the country in Florida now. It's beautiful here; right on the Gulf of Mexico.
just wanted to say hi to someone local :)
i noticed you set up a young and raw group for potlucks...do you ever go to the SF Living Foods potlucks? they are also at the mission police station community center.
hi nina! sorry i took so long to respond i've been out of the country for a while. are you in berkeley now? im seeing my parents in socal but im coming up there tomorrow actually. im gonna be living in berkeley and working in sf. it would definitely be nice to have a raw food buddy in the area. none of my friends are into it. what are you doing to be doing there?
I actually just went climbing today. There's a wall outside one of the parking lots on the UCSD campus I went to with my friends. Its artificial, and is supposed to be just for decoration, but it really makes for some good climbing.
I go outdoor pretty often too. There's a few places around SD. Santee, Mission Gorge, Mt woodson. There are some pics on roshis.com from a few of my santee trips.
Actually, I went grocery shopping on Wed/Fri/Sat as well...so, the $14 on Sun was just the final money spent for the week. I spent over 100 for the week.
Let me know if you find the group - if not, it'd be nice to have one!
Hey Nina, hope you made it back home a-ok last night. Had a fun time with the group last night. Hope to see ya' in SF - I think I'll sign up for your Yahoo group.
So far, am holding steady with the weekly budget. Went to the farmer's market and rainbow but only spent $14 total. I think I'm set for the week.
Hey girl! Found you :) Wow - it was so much fun talking with you last night. I'm definitely down for future Cafe Gratitude get togethers (and yoga sessions). I want you to know how much I appreciated your conversation and attentiveness. You are one rawsome girl and I look forward to sharing this raw lifestyle adventure with you! Take care,xo Natanya

LOL, thats cool that you like mangos so much. They are delicious! Have you ever had mango-tomato soup?
I am currently participating in an NVC discussion group sponsored by the PathOfHealth Community (pathofhealth.org)
The experience so far has been remarkable. It's a really fun to get together with a group of people who choose to communicate on a deeper level are are willing to look inside themselves when communicating with others.
Your in CA, which is the best place in the world to attend NVC workshops. Whats your experience with NVC?

LOL, not sure how the PathOfHealth Community got mixed in with searches for spirulina.
If your trying to figure out what it is, I'll just tell ya. It's a Yahoo! discussion group, lol, thats it.
