Hi Junko,
It was good to catch up for hanami the other day. Thanks for the oranges- very nice. I have a question for you. You had a large container to store your juice. I am looking for a similar container to store my juice. Could you tell me where I could get one like it?

Hanami in Kichijoji sounds good, if there are still some cherry blossoms left. I can be there by noon. How about we meet at the entrance to the park where starbucks is? I'll send you a message with my phone number just in case.

The meetup was good. There were many new people there, and it was nice to meet Govinda Kai too. I have to work tomorrow, so maybe we could meet next Wednesday. What time will you be ready to meet?

Hi, it"s a pity you couldn't come to the potluck. Are you still doing your juice feast? The weather is looking good again. Let me know when you are ready ready for the park!!!!

BTW Paul Coelho's Alchemist — you read that in English or Japanese? Great book, isn't it? Here's another great book: Mister God, This is Anna. True story of a 5 year old girl brief whilrlwind life and her unique relationship to God. She was a genius at 5.

Ha! Ha! So, you want to exchange candies for coins? I didn't think you as one who ate candies. You Japanese are more into Osembe than candies!

And what do I do with the candies? Throw them out. I won't even consider poisoning other kids with it!

Yoroshiku. Ohaiyo-Gozaimasu, Junko-San. O-genki desu-ka? Eriko-san's parents now live in Kakegawa-shi. She was born in Hamamas. Her dad was in the military so they've lived all over Japan.
My boys are healthy now, thank God. But I have to keep on top of things.

My wife was a nurse but no American license. However, I was able to convert her to the holistic way and so our kids were raised primariy with homeopathy and herbs and nutritional supplements. For the most part, they stay away from dairy (cheese, being the only exception). Absolutely no milk. And I have to keep them away from the sweets and junk food. Which is nearly impossible in this junk food culture. But, I don't get too fanatical or puritanical about it. They get their occasional junk treats. But only occasional. If they get any sweets in school, they can give to me and I'll exchange it for coins. Yup, I go broke during Halloween with 3 kids bringing me bags of candy! Ha! Ha!
Take care and hope to hear from you again. Gambatro.

Yes, I had a good time exploring local parks and just relaxing. Yes, the weather doesn't look so good. If you are free tomorrow, we could meet up somewhere between Waseda and Ogikubo if you like. But I have to get going now, so will check for your reply tomorrow. Delete Comment

This week I'm free all day Wednesday till about 4pm, Friday till about 1pm. Other weeks Wednesday is same, but I'm also free after 5pm on Fridays.
I didn't stop for any particular reason, but I guess these days I'm pretty worked-out from daily ashtanga practice. But, I still do go for a light jog now and then. Unfortunately, I have to catch up with a friend this Friday, so can't join you. By the way, were abouts do you live?

Hi,
I would love to join your run, but I usually work on the weekends. Also, I haven't been running much in the last few years, so it sounds like I wouldn't be able to keep up with your pace. Enjoy the run

Small world, huh?! I know Weehawken well — I used to live in Elizabeth and Nutley. Got too hectic, I moved to south Jersey. How long have you been back in Japan? Maybe next year we'll plan a trip to bring whole family to Japan to see Ojii-San and Obaa-San. Are you currently in Shizuoka? Maybe we can visit you.

And thank you for you kind words about the boys. They've had their fair share of illnesses (some life-threatening.) My No. 2 has had Lymes. He seems okay now. For the most part, they're healthy. We've been treating most of their afflictions with homeopathy and herbs.

Blessings to you.

Kombawa. O-Genki-desu-ka? My wife is from Shizouka-ken. I'm slowly shifting more and more to raw. Sorry to say but I still like meat. However, I eat less and less of it. Not for political or "green" reasons, but because my cravings and desires have been changing ever since I've been on a raw food products that my friend recommended to me. My goal is to get to the point where I'm eating 90% Green — be it raw, or cooked, but more raw than cooked. In TCM and Ayurvedic traditions, cooking releases the Chi, or Ki, that would otherwise be trapped in the foods in raw form. There are times when I get a heck of a blast of energy from eating cooked food. Other times, raw gives me more of a blast. Just have to listen closely to what my body is saying.
Keep Raw-ring about Raw Food. Please feel free to share any insights, funny quips, jokes, or raw recipes. I'm a novice in life that never too arrogant to learn from others, regardless of sex or age. :0)
