Hope to go to India soon! I think my daughters will want to go for the next Kuumba Mela. I think that would be great for them to experience that. I want to go to Kerala. Thanks for the friendship! :)

Wow youre really 'getting it' this time around using the kind of words like 'easing into it' thats exactly the only way it can be done. Anything else is an illusory struggle out of a desire to be 'more' or perfect, which assumes youre not already! And, how else could one know that Ecstasy is our birthright without being awesome like yourself. :) Congrats :) Bless you the world over!!

hi! sorry, I didn't see your question until now. I think the only way is through a blood test, but the doctor would have to include hormonal testing. The one I am deficient in is Pregnenolone. The adrenals can be easily stressed from illness, infection, caffeine, OTC meds like tylenol, stress.... My doc has me on omega 6 oils from evening primrose, which would help production of adrenal hormones. That may help, but I would suggest getting a blood work up done if you still continue to feel run down. Get better soon!

There is a NYC raw food meetup. Although fom the looks of it, its is pretty much defunct. I guess Donna Perrone is doing her own meetup now, you might try searching for that. Not currently in the city myself..possible next month.

No, not a documentary. :)
It's an experiment in community building and trusting the universe and acting with the flow. Should be tons of fun. I'll be posting details very soon.

I can't believe it took me this long to try Chinese cabbage. Only discovered it a few weeks ago and then I was informed how high it is in calcium. Now I have several good reasons to continue eating mass quantities. The inner part is especially tasty. I better stop talking about it....I'm obsessed with it lately!

This part of NY, Adirondack Mountains, is beautiful and the air smells like trees.... but at the same time it can feel very isolated due to low population density. This time of year can be especially challenging. I'm the only vegetarian I know and I've been here 12 years...so I know some people. Imagine if I told them I'm pursuing raw foods too! They already think I'm whacked...can't imagine how I'd be perceived if that were known : ) Actually, I don't care too much about that. Lately I've been wondering how long I'll stay. Not too much longer I think..... How long have you been in NYC? Will you stay?

Anyway.............. that apple / goji / cinnamon mix sounds good too.

I'm experimenting with chard, and Chinese cabbage in my morning smoothie. And reducing the banana to be more like you! I keep forgetting to add the cayenne. I will also try turmeric since it's such a powerful herb.

E3 for me! I've had it on the list for a while.

How's NYC? (did I mention I lived there for 6 years a while back?)

I didn't hear the term until two years ago when I went to work at an eco-retreat in Utah. But I've always kind of been into sustainable, efficient living . . . spirituality, health, environment, economy, the list is long!

haha yes, Enya has the special way of making us want to do those things. Or burst into creative amounts of art. Tis some what cold here in FL which is kind of nice for a change. I like it. Short term. I am working on my yoga skills, everything in time. Learn to be more flexible with the body and in life opening up the third eye. We can always ask our third eye for guidance, thats what my friend told me. I agree, what do you think? This b-12 thing is really quite the topic... HUGS~~

Yesterday I took the day off and did not do any exercise. Today I walked the dog and it felt sooooo good for my mind also.
When I can I will walk. (The weather permitting) I like your idea of one day running and one day yoga. That had crossed my mind today while walking. We really are all connected.

Hi El-bo, You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.

Adrenal fatigue is indicative of overall exhaustion. When the body is already is exhausted and has no real energy left, it calls on the adrenal gland to produce adrenaline. The body doesn't have much of a choice because as we continue to force it ...
