Oh there were ALOT of antibiotics. The later years before I got sick, I had 3-4 antibiotic-cures a year. And then there was the cough-syrups,painkillers, flour tablets etc... And the years I was too young to remember there was also some medical problems. I've asked mum about it, but she don't remember they gave me much other than antibiotics. But they must have, i had a complicated birth, and then right after birth there was more complications etc etc etc....

I just read that link now.. WOW it describes my symptoms exactly.
And I've always felt that THIS IS WHAT*S WRONG WITH ME but people don't want to listen. Not even my doctor unfortunately :S

Strangely enough most of the supplements she talks about, I have tried. So I guess I've been on the right path natuopathically speaking :)

You're another wone with high doses of pharmaceuticals in your childhood, eh? That seems to be going around alot in ME patients.

Yeah I agre that wholefoods are better than powders, but powders are a quick and easy way to get the nutrients when feeling lazy or exhausted :)
I'm sending you a PM with my contactinfo on facebook, but I have a closed profile there, so it may not work.

*big hugs*
You have no idea how happy I am that I can finally talk to someone who agrees with me on this :) Do you have MSN or facebook or something?

Oh that is some interesting information. Is there any way to repair the damage?

Yeah I agree with you that too many supplements are counter-productive too. I used to be on 30 pills a day (natural herbs, vitamins etc) after a liveblood analysis, but after about a year and a half my body couldn't take it anymore. I still have major problems swallowing pills, and I never used to have that before. So I've tried to find other way to get the nutrients I need, and raw food seems to be the best option. Not yet decided if raw vegan is the right thing, seeing as I have a really fucked up system, but I'll figure it out as I go along I guess. For now I spend enough energy just getting used to actually make food from scratch and not buy anyting at McDonalds or put something in the microwave. There's just so much more work involved in food now... preparing, making, cleaning.. *sigh* Im exhausted after 1 meal.
But hopefully that's just the adjustment period.

Yeah it's really nice to rant with someone who knows exactly what you're talking about :D Sometimes when I feel like ranting, I end up having to explain how the law of attraction even works to people.
How can I rant properly if I have to explain what I'm ranting about? LOL. Wouldn't it be better if I used that energy on trying to write an unbiased blog entry or something?

Monsanto did WHAT? Oh I haven't heard about that, I have to go read it I guess.
How could the indian farmers possibly fight Monsanto? They don't have money for a lawyer, and no matter how much we hate this fact, money makes the world go around. It's a nescessary evil. Without money you might aswell just kill yourself. There's nothing else you can do, unfortunately. No matter how much people try to say you can sleep under open sky and live off air. Without clothes you'll be jailed for indecent exposure anyway, after probably beeing beaten up and raped a dozen times first. *sigh*

While I'm on a roll here, there's also the whole "you attracted your own disease"- stigma. Oh really? We did?
It surely has nothing to do with toxic chemicals beeing in our enviroment even from mothers womb? I guess we volunteerly attacted the chemicals then? Even the kids of hippie parents and grandparents?
GAH!!!! Ok so people got sick back when Jesus was born too, and there probably wasn't many chemicals around then, but on the other hand, there wasn't as many diseases either.

LoL oh sorry about that. I didn't mean you come off as a really negative peson, but in contrast to most of the people I see here, you stand out as someone who dares to speak their mind. It's refreshing.I have a little feeling that within the socalled "alternative world" anyting that's not positive and uplifting should be ignored, or atleast kept quiet.

So yeah I agree, with everything you just said. I'm also alittle "pissed" at those who say we have a free will. I don't think we do, because if we did, we'd all be millionaires etc. Freedom of choice is a more appropriate word for it, I think Because we come into this world with a preset agenda or whatever, and no matter how much we want to, we can't change the lessons we agreed to learn. We may postpone them to the next life or something, but sooner or later we have to learn it.
Besides, go tell some starving kid in africa that they're hungry because they're thinking about it too much *eyeroll*.

Oh yeah. Just because I found you here, I've now come back to this site twice in a week :D
I've usualy only come here when REALLY bored lately, because I feel out of place, beeing a "negative person" and all ;)

I saw you in the ME/CFS group actually, and from there read your profile. So it was actually your profiletext :)

Yeah I agree with you. Sometimes when I try to tell certain types of people of the negative they may not be aware of, I just get the comments about "it's all a reflection of you" or "send out positive thoughts and it will get better someday". It makes me want to just...SCREAM! Because I think that we, as people, need to take ACTION however we can. Inform, write "angry" letters, demonstrate if one have the energy (obviously not alot of CFSpeople will have the energy to do that) etc...

How else will people know? By manipulting ther energyfield, wich is invasive unless they ask for it? *sigh*

Oh it's so wonderful to see someone here speak about the negativites of this world.
I often find that I don't log in here for ages, because I feel like I don't fit in with all the positive people who either close their eyes about it, or think that enough meditation will solve the problem.

(Ok so meditation will solve alot, but sometimes it just isn't enough)

Hi Blueberry,

I live in Exmouth, just outside Exeter. I don't know any other raw people locally, so I use Twitter a lot - there's loads of raw fooders there.

The dog in the picture is Albert, one of my two loopy springers! ;o) The other one is liver and white and called Chester. How great that you have rescue animals! That's what we wanted to do initially, but in the end we decided it was best to get some experience under our belts before taking on a rescue dog. We're thinking of doing it now, though.

Hope all is well in Totnes!

Love Neens x

No way, I didn't see the pro-vaccination stuff! I have had some funny comments to stuff I've written on here though; some quite small-minded and very opinionated responses. I had to request to stop following a thread because something I'd written had led to a bit of an uproar!!!!
I am pleased to say however that my decision not to vaccinate Poppy has caused me no problems at all. Obviously any medical people involved have always advised that we should do it, but when I've clearly told them "no" then that's always been the end of it. I find myself feeling ever more strongly about it. I've missed the date now, but I was sorely tempted to take some action when they were doing the last lot of MMR jabs at our local surgery. There was an article in the Mother magazine recently titled "MMR Deaths". I was thinking about photocopying it and leaving copies in the waiting room. I guess I could still do it, it doesn't have to tie in with a date when they're injecting. I don't want to upset anyone, but the truth is people aren't given both sides of the story and I really feel that that information needs to be out there. What do you reckon? x

Hi Blueberry,

Sorry I've taken so long to reply! I haven't met many high-rawies down here yet, but quite a few of my cooked friends are getting more into superfoods and the raw lifestyle as they've seen me blossom and change more and more. There's interest in rawfood in the wholefood community, and interest in wild foods too. A friend of mine forages for a living, selling to restaurants down here and upcountry. I just think that's so brilliant! How's it going up there? Has the snow gone yet?

Hi Jane great to hear from you too.
Rooibos is from http://www.equalexchange.co.uk/products/product.asp?id=27&pn=Organic%20Wild%20Collected%20Rooibos, I emailed them to ask how it is processed and all that happens is the leaf is hand picked thend dried in the courts by the sun. So i am really excited to be consuming this plant, I really love and beleive in the power of herbs, epsecially wild ones.

Ha Ha it really fascinates me what you are learning Jane, you are an amazing woman. Its great how we have different areas of speciality and we can come together and learn form each other.

Im reading a little about the indigenous cultures just now in http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sacred-Herbal-Healing-Beers-Fermentation/dp/0937381667/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1232714278&sr=8-1., fascinating.

No rush to write back, I understand you are deep in study.

Thinking about you much

hey. i know what you mean about the summer-winter thing. in summer there is an abundance of berries, in winter you have to find the truly good avocados because they're imported. still it's very beautiful here in washington especially in the summer (just "a lil" cold in the winter lol). i know i was surprised about the codex! nobody knows about it and it's affecting most of the world. i heard last year that they want to grow fruit without having seeds inside and make the bees carry that chemical and pollinate the fruits in america. i don't know tho if or when it will take place but it's not good. do you know if costa rica also has codex there? it's kind of strange tho that now many things are legal but how are they going to let the public know right away that everything healthy is illegal?? what are chia seeds?? i always hear of them. =D why are they illegal??

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found. I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen. Healing with whole foods is a great start..
