Thanks a lot for replying. I looked up The Body Ecology Diet and I'm still reading up about it but it seems like something that I really need to read. I've heard so many different things about raw foods (all of them high fruit) and I'm not even sure what I'm doing anymore. But you brought the fact that there are other options to my attention. Thanks for that. I really appreciate you :]
I see you're into plant medicine - way cool. There is an excellent doco on TV at the moment called Grow Your Own Drugs and it is all about everyday plants and what you can easily turn them into - that is, the natural cures, moisurisers etc - it is brilliant.
On another note i studied some Flower Essences by this lady nd the course was extremely interestng. http://www.nzfloweressences.co.nz/
rawzilla, this phone is killing me. i write emails, but it wont let me send the email only on this site. glad to hear all is well on your end. i also think our medical history is very interesting. i will try to write u in more detail while at work this weekend. ~hugs
Rz! Yes the DR aftermath has subsided and I don't get to read your smart postings.... Well all is well here except it rains nearly everyday this summer. Same in CT this year?
Yes- there is something so healing about vetiver- I think us vata types need it! Check out this amazing article about vetiver from a TCM perspective and it becomes clear why you and I love it so much:

I definitely felt there was a connection when I went 100% raw. What I experienced on raw foods was feeling very "spiritual" and high...and then...ungrounded in a most unpleasant way. As a "vata" dosha type, I am already up there. I was never really "weighed down" with heavy foods, and I never ate the SAD way.
So going raw kind of shot me through the "spirit-sphere," and it was hard to stay in my body, even though I danced and did yoga. For a number of reasons, including illness and coldness, I added cooked foods again.
I still do a lot of raw, including veggie juices, but adding cooked food helps ground me too.
The balance between cooked and raw is a good fit for me, spiritually, although it was fun to be maniacally creative and constantly "connecting" everything for a while.
Hey Rawzill,
Just ran across this posting of yours. I'm at work now, but I would love to chat with you about this, if it's okay with you.
It may sound silly, but this is part of the reason why I haven't gone 100% raw. The feeling is just too intense for me. I'm thinking of going to a raw retreat to get through my spiritual high, because then I will have no choice, but to get through it.
and wanted to say that Tagore is beautiful. we grow up on Tagore's songs and poems here in Bengali culture. it is a common thing here. at least was so more so when i was growing up and the previous generations.
Yes, you bring immense light and joy too. i have always enjoyed your presence as well :-)
I was about to leave this place but then the right people came along. :-) :-)
Thank you immensely ~~~
Am glad you are doing so much better in every way. we all deserve to be healthiest in every way, all levels.
my mind comes along with the fish and eggs with these years of abstaining. but i know the right things are coming along.
I have been told to increase EFAs, in supplements and whole forms too in order to heal my eczema. but only vegan sources wont do. i am doing what i can. taking fish oil supplement for now and then i will slowly progress to the wholefish steamed. let us see. not pushing myself too much and going by the flow of my body. i will be starting my homeopathy medication this week. also some green juices. what do you feel about this?

I watch a lot of TV. For a normal person, it's probably too much, but for an aspiring TV writer, it's probably not enough. I watch Top Chef, Project Runway, Heroes, Gossip Girl, Greek, Biggest Loser, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and Bon...

I totally need a raw food spiritual counselor.
Hope all has been well on your end.
