Hi My boyfriend grew up in Santa Cruz. I met him about 20 years ago when I was going to college at UCSC and he was at Cabrillo. It's a beautiful town. It seems too expensive for most people to live in especially ones with kids.
I wish I had been able to invest in a home there when they were relatively cheap.

We live in England (usually), now just visitng the states for 3 months, then we'll move on to other countries or go back to England.
We'd love to meet other raw families during our visit.

thank god I'm not the only one because all of my family and friends cant take it and all think I'm NUTZ and I know my strands are starting to think the same thing with all the stress i put them thru every few months. haha. I think you look amazing dark as well, (go yankees!!) but with a beautiful face like yours how could you not. your family is beautiful as well, your girls are just adorable!
In answer to your question about traveling US - I need visa & I can get it if I will have officially reason, officially gob (maybe you don't plan this). I have no cue how it is easy or difficult.
I have never dried them myself, but in France and Italy you can buy them already dried (at what temperature I don't know). It was awhile since I ate them (before I went raw).
Lost is same insanely good storytelling, character development. I love how they spend time flashing back to show you the character's demons and how the island is bringing them to face what used to be a big thing for them. Plus, you never know what...
