So if I don't agree with you I'm dogmatic? Dogmatic: assertion of opinion, usually without reference to evidence. I've got thousands of experiences fasting people who do not have a fever, all with excellent results. You read something in a book. Which of us does not have evidence? Frankly Angus, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but have no interest in continuing this conversation with you. If you really want to find out the truth, Do it. Fast for 21 days with experienced supervision, (in the absence of a fever, ) and then you'll at least have one date point. I'll bet anything that like everyone else, you will have an amazing experience and will finally Know what you can never know by reading a book. And if I'm wrong, you can continue to assert your opinion as fact; but at least you'll have one data point to support your viewpoint... In the meantime, I'm out. Time for bed, then actual human beings to help get well. Even though they didn't have fevers when they started...

Ahhh. I see. And what do I tell all of the people that have come here with chronic disease and gone home healthier than ever? Sorry...a dead man (and his young disciple) think this is a bad idea. Do they care? Or maybe they're happy that they're well and that their conditions have finally resolved.... Angus, I don't care who thinks it's a bad idea...it works. Every time. And from my perspective, experience trumps philosophy. When you see and do something enough, you know. Shelton, as much as I respect him, (and who I have a hard time believing thought that his many thousands of fasts supervised for chronic conditions which resulted in cures were a bad idea) certainly made mistakes Angus. And if you don't have personal fasting experience - and a lot of it -- you may not really be qualified here; at least acknowledge that these beliefs of yours are beliefs...

Angus, I asked you about a month ago on what you are basing these pronouncements...care to say? We see miracles here all the time with people who do not meet your standards for continuing. MS, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, lower GI tract problems, etc. etc. etc. What we do here not only works; many of my clients have come only after everything else has failed, and then they get amazing results here. You are certainly entitled to your opinions, but you are stating these beliefs as if they are truth. Please tell me what this truth is based on.

Hi Angus,
thank you for your comments ♥
Mamey Sapotes are great, really like sweet pumpkin pie, especially if left to fully tree ripen. Green Sapotes are similar to Mameys, but some Sapote lovers claim they are superior in taste.
Yellow Sapote (Canistel) can be quite mealy and dense in texture, almost like a boiled egg yolk. But they taste very sweet. like candy, and can sometimes have an almost cloying taste. Some varieties of canistel are moister, and less mealy—and I prefer these ones.
Choc Sap are my favourite, they are rich and velvety in taste and texture and smooth and moist.
The best ones taste like delightful Chocolate Mousse.
White Sapotes, are moister too and can be quite variable in taste, good ones are lovely, but some are not so tasty.

so my top three would be:
Choc Sap
Mamey
Green

All great nutritious food though.
have a great day,
Love and Peaches XX.

My granddaddy's from Hungary. Heard of Szekely, and sitz baths. I've taken a cold every morning for over four years (kundalini yoga).

Dear Genius Jones,

Just listened to Daniel Vitalis on OneRadioNetwork.com. He's coming to EdenHot Spring Festival in Arizone November 11-15. Daniel has great information: recommended The Internal Exercises by Stephen Chang, and particularly Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Weston Price. He likes MountainRoseHerbs.com, wild rice, brazil nuts, dandelion, garlic, sage, thyme, oregano, basil, and esp. wild foraging for plants to eat. Wild carrot, grade b maple syrup, exercising with "club bells", the book Sacred Herbal Healing Beers (fermented), the book The Sacred Teaching of Plants, Suzun Weed's work for women, superfoodspeakeasy.com. He's coming to Austin.

I shall not be studying at the fancy-schmanzy restaurant/academy in Okla City in November or anytime soon or late.

Thanks Angus for your in depth response,
It is true that when the body has "high fever" it is the biggest window for the body to heal. What I am experimenting with is the shattering purity of the "natural mind"in relationship to the absence of daily food intake. The goal of the fast was not to cleanse a part of my being physically, so maybe I should just see how I feel after 3 days? What motivated me to do the water cleanse was an experience i had recently: I awoke around 5 one morning went for a 2 hour run..about halfway through I felt like I could go forever, because my body had been numb and completely aware at the same time. I then realized that as soon as that thought came to me, I had just left my "natural mind" because I had analyzed the experience, and thus switched back over to the common mind. I was so in awe I felt desire to explore this further. I never eat before I run, so i thought a fast could give a similar clarity on the issue. Good to hear your thoughts,

hey, nice to meet you,
do you think it would be unsafe to do 7 days? I have never done a water fast but i have done dry fasts and the master cleanse. I have found that my body can tolerate long fasts without a problem. love to know what you think,

thanks,
