Typical in > hold > out cycle is 60 seconds or so with some cheating at times.. so 50 or so. Dont really measure it as 20>20>20. Just close my eyes, sit in Vajrasana & go as slow as possible.

Probably not for 30 mins but I think long enough. I do 8 > 8 > 6 as per our pranayama practise = 22. Close.
Then do mudra pranayams in sukhasana later for similar. I guess I am getting 30 mins in ballpark.

All this is much easier due to the right guidance & Guru.

PS: I got thrown into this due to 2 months of Insomnia (1 to 1.5 hrs of sleep for 2 months.. was extreme)

Found your Pranayama post. Lovely :)

You ever timed yourself? We did recently and had one cycle lasting around 60-80 seconds.

Thanks for the comment on my photo. When not in a garden, on a hike or enjoying a wonderful fresh veggie salad, being in the underword is a great place to be. I certainly hope you enjoy your visit to the Big Island, I lived there for over 2 years and had some wonderful experiences. There is a new farmers market at the Amy Greenwall garden Kona side, if'n you get over that way on a Sunday morning.check it out.

Wow. What a drink! We'll have to make it. I love your use of capital letters, it reminds me of Dr. Schulze's EMPHATIC WRITING. :)
Philagrets cannot be bought nor sold. Only given, and eaten under the shade of a certain Oak tree in Topanga. :)

I'd say our "last meal" was pedestrian and forgettable. Today is...day 7? Oh my. How time flys when I'm having so much fun with rosemary toast, fig and hazelnut granola, chocolate strawberry "cheese" cake, sprouts, sprouts and more sprouts, and of course The Juice. Thank you for your words of alchemic wisdom.
We have a big aloe leaf in the fridge. Thoughts on recipes with aloe?
Blessings,
Miss E.

Mr. K.Free K.C.,
Where can I pick up a copy of work you've authored?
Finding barhi dates at the FM on Day 1 was a good omen.

Dear Mr. K.F.K. Chips,
Since we are raw friends now, I would like to know the science of extracting karma from kale chips. Is this something accomplished through dehydration, soaking, or perhaps a series of dehydration and soaking cycles? I envision it to be like dying cloth--the old fashioned way. Is there a certain spice you sprinkle on to mitigate any remaining karmic effects? Where does one obtain such spice? How can you be absolutely sure you've gotten ALL the karma out?

How do I actually make Karma Free Kale Chips?? I have a yoga student who owns an organic farm with 2 kinds of Kale. She's gonna hook me up with that! :) I have a dehydrator. Do I use that? Or maybe just eat it raw in a salad. Help with my Kale questions! The next time you come to Bocas we'll hit up that farm and roll around naked in the Kale. :)

Laurita

Hey KFKC,

I haven't forgotten about the cheesy kale pictures, but a cheap camera equals poor quality photos.

I have to make the cheesy kale chips again, so I can redo the pictures...Oh Darn!!! =^ D

Thank you so much for spreading the bliss around. Namasté, my friend.
