Hey girl, I love your updated page. :-) That's awesome that you will be going to Living Light. I would so love to go there myself... though I'm not sure when, since I plan to start med school in a few months. If you can figure out how to make some garlic/onion-free recipes that taste great - that would be so wonderful. I'm trying to avoid the garlic, onion, and chilis to follow Sadhguru's instructions, but I crave the 'heat' from those foods. I love savory spicy foods, but don't know which herbs to use to add flavor. Many people use hing (asafoetida) as a replacement for garlic, but that is also negative pranic. If you find any substitutions for garlic and onions that you could share with me, I'd be so grateful!!!!
Thanks Frecia, I wish you an extraordinary and amazing time in Fort Bragg. Please keep in touch and let me know if you come around the LA area :) I 'd love to know how it goes for you with LLCAI.
Hi lovely lady!! Thanks so much for post and the add - it's fab to hear from you! BTW The music on here is wicked - am grooving on at my desk now :-)
WOW how AMAZING does your food look?!! I think it's amazing you're choosing live foods to make a 'living' lol - I'd LOVE it if there was a school where i live coz i'd be right in there. saying that, Oz is catching up with the rest of the world slowly but surely when it comes to whole, raw beautiful living. HURRAH!
Hi Frecia, I read that you are going to Living Light, that is so great--- I interned with them several years back. You are going to love it, being close to nature, Northern California is gorgeous!!!
I currently working the natural food and products industry, in Marketing and Sales support. I also do Shamanic Healing from the Peruvian Shaman Traditions as taught by the Four Winds Society---gorgeous teachings, quite a blessing to have experienced that. :)
love your drum n bassish music here :) Wishing you the best of times in CA and Living Light---how long will you be in CA?
Thank you so much! I am very blessed. I have a wonderful family and a good life. I've been 98% raw for a little more than two months. It's made a huge difference in how I feel. I have so much more energy. The longer you're on it the more you'll notice the subtle changes.
Fort Bragg? Never been.
I suggest from there you drive down to S.F. lots of veggie friendly places there and a lot of culture to take in..

Oh yea I would love that! I truly believe it is a form of art. I have never heard of that town. I live in North East TN is it pretty close? I am actually from VA so I am not to familiar with tenessee. Have a good night.
Hey girlie! Thanks for the note:) Dont you love how everyone is so happy and glowing on this site! Makes me confident in my decision to go raw. I would love to take some raw culinary classes but none is offered any where close to me...so sad.
Thanks! I am excited too. It's funny how going vegan (and now raw-food) has made me realize what junk I used to eat. I was all about low-calorie processed food...ick. Did you read any books to help you start? I just ordered Dr. Grahams 80/10/10 but not sure I want to limit myself that much...just curious to read it with all the hype. Thanks for the add :)
Yes, I was at the Mahima consecration! That was my last visit to the TN ashram. I didn't volunteer at the BSP as I had to get back to work. But being there for the consecration was wonderful. Were you there for the consecration and BSP?
As far as trekking in India goes, I would certainly encourage you to do it. I went last year being 70 pounds overweight. I was the slowest person there, but I managed somehow... perhaps through Sadhguru's grace. It's such an amazing experience that I will remember all of my life. Absolutely go if you can!!!
Hi Frecia, it's so great to find another raw foods Isha meditator here. My first experience with raw foods was due to Isha as well. Back in 2005 at the ashram in India, they put me on raw foods.... against my will! They wanted me to slim down and do some raw foods and water fasting etc. At that time I never knew anything about raw, and I resisted the idea... as I thought I came all the way to India for some great Indian food! Anyways, even though I wasn't ready back then... it planted a seed in me, and ever since then I've been moving towards raw on my own!
I am thinking to start an Isha meditators group in the 'groups' section on this site. Maybe there are other meditators (now or in the future) who would love to find us as well! :-)
Thanks so much for your kind message. I am an Isha meditator, and I went on this trek with Sadhguru last year. It was so wonderful. I spent a few months at the ashram there in 2005, 2006, and 2007 - I would love to go back!
Hi Jenny, I am in the Tonbridge area of Kent. I am always up for some socialising if you want!
