hi!! i just saw your post about bikram. i love it and always feel after i take a class that THIS is it, however i completely agree with the nonspiritual feelings and the corporate, money element. in my class they often told me to hold my hand out as if i had to keep the 1000 dollar bill in my hand ... and for me this wasn't particularly helpful imagery- i probably would have screamed, dropped it, and ran away. okay now that i'm broke 1000 dollars would be really nice, though i think that you get the point (and maybe this is an indication that i need to revisit my relationship with money...)
in any case ... what were the "other plans" that you mentioned in your post with that discussion. i love hot hatha yoga. sweating. the intensity. holding poses. not so into downward dog. i wish bikram was more spiritual.
...could a new yoga be born? in this hypothetical situation, maybe there would be a way to integrate music, too. have you done jivamukti? i did just a tiny bit. and liked the music. oh and i loved the end with the soothing back rub with a little lotion. what a treat.
---below it says that you do kundalini yoga
that seems much different from bikram.
well that was just a smeshing of thoughts.
i would love to hear about your journey with finding the right yoga fit, and what you feel now is best for you. i'm very open to suggestions.
Hi YogaBrudder,
thank you for your comment.
Yes fruity children have their advantages; they are always spotting fruit trees and are great little foragers. Plus it is always nice to share fruit.
I am glad you like my playlist, I cannot listen to it myself now because of licensing restrictions in Oz ! it just won't play!
I hope you are having a fruitful and jolly day ♥

Yeah man; as you can imagine, we see enlarged prostrates all of the time, (though it seems to be much more of an issue for the men...) This usually resolves more or less completely in three weeks of fasting and guys are peeing with no problem and sleeping through the night.
It does make a difference if you're working taking/giving classes etc. You'll get far more benefit from any length fast if you resting as completely as possible. And though you can certainly do some short fasts if you want to, you may want to remember a couple of things: it takes the body 3-3.5 days to get into the deepest part of the process. Though there's certainly benefit in giving the digestive tract even a short rest, the real benefit comes with much more time.
Also, your body already knows how to fast. Though you can certainly start with short ones if you want to, there's no need to.
I would really encourage you (especially if you have any health challenges you are facing) to find a fasting retreat that you are comfortable with and take some real time to allow your body to cleanse and heal deeply. It is important to have supervision if fasting beyond 4 or 5 days. It's a significant process and can be quite challenging (and occasionally dangerous) on your own.
Our typical guest spends 4 weeks here, including 21 days fasting and 7 days eating again. We have 100% success with hypetension and type 2 diabetes and a very high success rate with candida, fybromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis, hypoglycemia, etc. Honestly, there's not much the body can't heal when it has the proper conditions and opportunity. Let me know if I can help amigo. Love, Loren

Hello again . I'm not a female and have never taken them but I have studied about Candida/yeast imbalances and medications and continuous use of birth control pills can kill off the friendly bacteria in the bowel allowing the unfriendly "rascals" ...
I remembered I took some pictures from last week. We used bees wax candles, like anthony was saying, white/ off white. No filter. We used a biodegradable paper plate, to cover the head. Alot of wax comes out!

Yes, at the end of a candling session, I always suggest the person open his/her own candle to discover any gold treasure. I can definitely tell ear wax fro candle wax . If you use a good grade candle candle, all of the candle gets burned in the pr...
