Really? Isnt massage therapy just perfect? I couldnt have picked a better program of study.
Im getting through the bulk of the anatomy courses right now, its a pretty intensive program. Which type of massage do you enjoy giving the most?
Thanks, feel free to stop by for a listen any time : )
That pic was taken on my first day back at school, definitely a genuine smile.
I love your blackberries and concord grapes comment, i can picture it..
seems like an adventure.
A tincture of schizandra and goji berries.
Another of reishi, chaga, cordyceps, astragulus, siberian ginseng, fo-ti, this one was a large batch...that I'm going to share with some friends.
How long do you let yours sit for? Some say 2 weeks, I'm gonna do 4 weeks.
That is wonderful! Are you very busy?
I'm returning to school in January for massage therapy...I think it will be a nice addition to the work I do with herbs. I have quite a bit of experience with energy work myself. I've explored reiki, quantum touch, crystal & sound healing. A couple of weeks of plant communication workshops too;) Once you go there, you can't go back! I've never felt it necessary to become 'certified' in any one energy healing modality. Practice and play is the best certification!
The benefit of working with herbs energetically is undeniable, but I still work with teas and tinctures as a delivery method, because it helps people to have something tangible.
I think the massage/bodywork is a missing link in communicating with the client's emotional body though. A lot of people come to me for herbs, not really ready to be healed. Most of them would benefit more from an opportunity to relax and be loved than a bitter digestive protocol, LOL!
Anyway, that's my ramble for the day...hope you're having a good day;)
Hi Paul! Thanks for the comment :) Just a little difficult lately, my partner does not want to be raw. So I am doing it for myself... Just need to stay connected here so I can keep my emotional energy up and I should be feeling better. Been having migraines daily and that means alot of imitrex.
ahhh, i know raw soups blended with spices. someday i will be there! i take it year by year and according to the xperience am getting going to other cold places. my body has become rather temperate actually in the last two years.so i have learnt that the more raw you are, the better your body gets adjusted! and now i really dont feel the summer heat and last time when i was in North East i wasnt feeling that cold either. but my throat keeps getting itchy and sore.
and oh yeaaa i love tea!!! :D cheers!
I wish i was there at your island nude bathing with you !!!! yayyy!
how is everything? how is your island in autumn? we barely have any cold here. i know i would love to have warm soup when it gets cold. i did when i was in north eastern himalayas and had porridge too! maybe when people stay in cold climates for long they get used to it!
I need a mango now more than ever.
This year has been the worst mango season I've ever seen :( Honey mangos were sad with light colored flesh that held little flavor...Kent mangos...don't even make me go there.
Last year was an AMAZING mango yea...
This was the one in the Santa Ynez Valley, which is near Santa Barbara. I did have a wonderful time! Met so many amazing people! I didn't volunteer though. I actually took a plane from Toronto by myself, but synchronistically met a lot of amazing ...

LOL- yes, I meant blood vessels. I must've been typing in a hurry;) The spleen (in Chinese medicine) holds things in their place, like blood in the vessels, and organs (keeps them from prolapsing). I wonder if you had a spleen issue back when the ...
