Hello, all my loved ones! I'm not sure how to create a status, but I will be relatively Internet-free for the next month as I travel so will not be able to respond to posts/messages!
Still, I'd love to receive them when I get back to civilization!

yes I know, going from Cusco to Machu Picchu cost like going from Paris to Morroco :-)

Thanks so much for the info - I'll be sure to try that place. I always forget that there are more farmer's markets is places other than the US. I can also imagine myself not being able to afford a whole lot organic in Paris lol - but conventional
I may still be around when you get back haha...I will likely be jumping around France - so knows where I'll be come late July or August - possibly back in Paris.
I don't know how you are going to try to explain the "lifestyle" to a French person lol. I will probably be staying with my friend's brother in Paris and my friend in Dijon and I don't even know how I'll be begin to say I pretty much will only eat fruit and not sound crazy - and also not be awkward at the table...
Hi Leah. I am a raw vegan and I am going to France in just over a month. I'll be spending some time in Paris, at least 2 weeks the department of Allier, and who knows where else. Is it hard to be raw in France? I don't have to be 100% if it's unaffordable or not possible, but I will definitely not eat a typical French diet lol. Actually, in Allier I will be part of a volunteer group where you all shop together and help prepare food according to your own recipes, so that could be interesting...
But yeah how is it eating the way you do in France? I'm guessing there are no raw places in Paris?
:-)...add some chipotle sweet almond sauce and some fresh cucumber to those avocados and mangos and you'll my find heaven :-)
peace vibes from San Diego
love Paris....haven't there yet but I love it already ;-)
Vow! I love Oscar Wilde as well as Einstein. I love mangoes, too! French women have combinations of intellectuality, slimness and sensuality, based on what I have heard and read.Thank you for befriending me, Leah. I would love to keep in touch with you. Paris is in my heart. How do you know the word Namaste? I am pleased by your profile and your intent to maximise consciousness.
I LOVE this post. you have nailed on the head so many things that I think, about religion, food, dogma, etc.
It's true that so many legalistic people do not realize that what they're doing may come off badly to others; just trying to find what is...
Hi,
Sorry to disappoint u, but you should never eat raw chestnuts. They're poisonous! They contain tannin a toxic substance. I used to let my dog play around with them until I learned about the tannin. It's highly toxic for animals (they can die f...

So I've been 60-100% raw for the past few weeks different people have told me I smell like pot, like I just finished smoking it or something! I can't smell a thing AT ALL but this has come from different people at different times so I guess I fina...
lol yes in many cases.
Eating raw fruits and vegetables doesn't make someone more spiritual. If that were case, we could just eat our way to enlightenment. Many animals eat raw fruits and vegetables and still live at a gross level of ignorance an...
