Give it to me Raw

Leira Violet

What if I were to...? (Another Dandelion question)

What if I were to make dandelion tea? What would the benefits be? I was going to set it out in the sun to dry out and then steep them.

Here is an excellent resource on wild plants. .
Click on "Plants" at the top of the page, then scroll down the alphabetical list of wild plants until you get to dandelion. A lot of his take is on cooking them, but there are also raw uses and excellent nutritional and medicinal information.

I read a most interesting article about dandelion root in Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Healing Herbs & Spices. I am going to keep the contents of the article a mystery simply because it is the most fabulous herb book I've ever read. Each page is like sorting through a trunk of gemstones. You gaze at them in the light, look at their cuts and feel their weight in your hand while you marvel at your good luck to have discovered something so valuable.

hi magical I use to fast before I was a raw vegan so I did not feel I needed to detox first. But everyone is different. I think if someone is doing drugs and other things they might want to wait to do a long fast.
