Today was a much nicer day. I planned to have some raw cashews, blueberries, and banana for breakfast. I had a nice salad for lunch, and some lovely veggie wraps with my best friend for dinner. We got some lovely pink Himalayan sea salt to sprinkle in them, too. We lay around for a while marking pages in some new raw recipe books we got at Barnes & Noble.
I got organic strawberries on sale & made some vanilla almond milk (I put the nuts on to soak before I went to work) to pour over the berries tomorrow. I'll top it with ground hemp & flax seed. I made some extra wraps for my lunch tomorrow, then my bestie & I are going to hear Angela Stokes & Matt Monarch's talk tomorrow evening so not sure what we're doing for dinner.
Saturday morning is our weekly trip to the farmer's market- I wonder what goodies we will find there? I just love our fresh, local produce! And I'll be getting some local bee pollen from the adorable bee guy who wears a bee suit every weekend. I used to buy local free range eggs from a nice lady there but no need anymore I suppose.
Thursday is my weighing day (it's silly, I know) and I was a smidge disappointed that I was only down about 2 pounds from last week. My bestie reminded me that it could be period weight and that next week will likely be better AND that my shorts we picked out barely a month ago were already super loose on me, even if the scale didn't notice. She's great inspiration for me! <3
So now I weigh 252, and I started out at 264. Not bad, not bad. I'm feeling great!
