1. daily as you arise, and also before sleep, picture yourself in perfect health, happiness and harmony. Picture yourself radiantly alive. Hold this picture with emotional desire in your conscious mind for 30 unbroken seconds. This will plant a seed. By consistent focus this seed will grow. The power and effervescence of superior health, happiness and harmony will eventually come forth.

2. begin to trace health challenges (effects), wether they be addictions, illnesses, etc., to their "cause".

What is the true cause of my foremost health challenge?

--my long lasting health challenges have been digestive. boy did I learn it the hard way. growing up, we ate meat and potatoes. (news update: both my parents have had heart issues, my dad just got home from a quadruple 4 way bypass surgery)

and I knew then when I was young that I did not want to spend a lifetime of feeling tired, bloated, weak, and irritable. i have been on many magical journeys so far, learning, reading, understanding, embracing, and finding my way back. my studies as a massage therapist were fascinating!

when the bloating and irritability starts creeping back, I know that something is not right. The first place to look is my diet. Sure enough I can look at what I have been eating lately, and get the wake up call.

I have been doing that a lot lately, not paying enough time and attention to properly preparing my meals. and so, well, you reap what you sow.

I feel at this point that before it gets any worse, I want to start getting even better.

and with my fathers recent visit to the hospital, it reminds me once again why I need to prepare for my health in the future.

hi stacey, I was doing Hatha Yoga, that involves asanas, prayanama, bandha and mudras. Apart from yoga we were taught Anatomy, Psychology, Philosophy etc., so that the students of this course could teach yoga and take it as a profession later.
