Give it to me Raw

I've had the goal of doing a raw restaurant next summer for 2-3 months for, say, 5 years. Looks like I just got the financial support I'd been hoping for. Hooray.

I don't want to say more here, but the joint will be in a small but very popular beach town in the Northeast. And I need....servers! I recognize this is incredibly premature. But. If the idea of working as a server and raw model for 2-3 months next summer in the NE sounds appealing, please let me know. The town is absolutely phenomenal.

We are working on the business plan right now but suffice it to say, anyone working for the shop will be re-imbursed as generously as is humanly possible.

Even if it seems like a whim but you know you live the kind of life where you might be available (and really interested ne passionate), drop me a line or friend me....

That's awesome man! The world needs more raw and living food restaurants. :-)

Have you ever been to Grezzo in Boston? They are really on the cutting edge of raw food dining. They do things none of the other restaurants are doing, like fermenting their own nut cheeses, hand making amazing gellatos, and pickling veggies and fruits to garnish (which is great for digestion!).

I recently went through their 12 hour intensive training, and it was a fantastic insight into how a commercial, upscale raw foods restaurant is run. Not only did they share with us the inner workings of their day to day operations, but they also gave instruction on ALL of their cutting edge techniques. :-)

I don't know your level of personal experience with running a raw foods restaurant, but I would highly recommend the training if you are serious about doing it. Here's the info:

I've met some hit chix on GITMR. Not satisfying in the least. Just the opposite. Most communication is self-defeating, accomplishes nothing. I would love it if people would leave me alone when I'm out and about. Anybody else?

also, a dr. friend told me that some of the waxy stuff can drip into your ear and do permanent damage. it does feel great, but i don't do it any longer. i've actually fallen asleep while having it done. =/
