Give it to me Raw

hey guys

So I embarked on my first three day water fast starting Thursday night .. and at this point I'm feeling very nascious and not hungry at all. I set some spiritual intentions and so I definitely want to stick to this, but I was wondering if those feelings are normal and how I could best cope with them? I'm wondering if it's symptomatic of a more emotional detox? I'm also super light-headed and low energy, and I heard from other fasting accounts that people usually get a lot of energy because their energy isn't going towards digestion .. so if anyone has any advice or whatnot I'd most greatly appreciate it!! love to all :)

I have definitely been allowing myself a lot of rest and am being patient with my body. I'm very excited to be undergoing the healing process

That happened to me on my first fast. Rest, rest, and more rest, and you'll get through. Just be careful if you have blood sugar issues or any other existing illnesses.

Your fast sounds completely normal for a person just starting to do water fasts. When I first started, I would have flu like symptoms and be very low energy. But now, after doing over 20 2-3 day fasts, as well as a 10 and a 12 day water fast, when I fast I have very few symptoms and I have a lot of energy after the first day or so.

For now, accept where your body is, and if it asking for rest, then give it rest.n By the way, anything other than just pure water on a fast will cause digestion to happen, and this may take away from your healing.

ohh interesting .. yes I've been drinking herbal teas only. I'll try ginger, and add salt to all my water .. thank you so much!!!

It balances electrolites and can help keep muscles from cramping. Your stomach could be cramping that's why you don't feel that great. I would suggest ginger tea. But are you sticking just with water?

Have you put some sea salt in your water? That can help..
