Hello All You Beautiful Raw Community Loving Friends.
I am happy to announce I have been working a workout/training book for this beautiful thing we call Raw Living. I have received many messages and emails through GI2MR and Facebook over the year concerning workout tips, muscle gains, body conditioning and strength in relations to having a Raw Food Lifestyle/diet. My purpose is to share my knowledge/experience I have build in 10 years of training pro and amateur, being a personal trainer and modeling and going from Meat and Supplements to feeling the great benefits of being Natural, Vegan and Raw. (mini training bio on my page)
Most of the questions have varied from men and women, bulking up to slimming down, getting more muscle definition, weights to no weights, and food. This book is will not meant to make you look like Arnold Schwarzenegger (Perfect example of a meat and supplements bodybuilder, 3 heart surgeries, bad skin, tired, high fat %list goes on).
This is not about looking like anyone other then yourself. There are absolutely no expectations. Everyone is different. Everyone will have different results. This is a source of overall body conditioning and strength training for overall body conditioning from what took me to where I am now. It is what you make of it. I don't believe in deadlines or limiting yourself. I believe strong in moderation and progression and overall love what your doing and being happy.
The moment is stops being about loving yourself from the inside and connecting and becomes about achieving superficial status and gains you have taken a giant step away from what I am achieving with this.
I am documenting several workout plans on myself and other people that specialize in three levels of training, beginner, Intermediate and advanced. This will start in the next 2 weeks. Each level will also focus on various types of routines, muscle overload, body shock system, using weights and principles of training without weights, cardio, yoga, stretching, music, food, all kept in a journal as well as my mental status. I will be blogging on GI2MR during this time with my results.
I have some amazing people in the profession contributing with food plans only to use as examples if you choice. Everything will be calculated on percentage of protein, fat, vitamins, etc...
Before I begin, I am taking an overall Body Assessment (blood test/pressure, fat percentage, etc..) and again at the end. And keep pictures as well.
I will also be studying to take my personal training exam for I haven't been a trainer for several years.
My Philosophy is simple:
- Listen to your body. Don't force it if it's not there.
- Recovery time and proper nutrient is key!
- Mix it up. Confuse the body. Keep the blood circulating.
(positives/negatives, slow/fast count, etc.)
- Rhythm. Form. Breath.
- Conquer you own body weight.
- Be motivated. Have fun. Love doing it. (or don't do it)
- Love man. Just Love :)
*****If anyone is interested in being a part of this project regardless of gender, age, time and level, please let me know. I would love as much feedback as possible. This would be volunteer work, but super fun. And you can be part of something special. You would follow the routine on your own time. This is fun, I promise. It's not bootcamp ha. Have a training partner or on your own.
The most important factor in all this is that the you realize that ultimate goal is that in the present moment you are in is the only moment that counts. It's all about now, not yesterday!
Love Love Love And Raw ;)
