Give it to me Raw

So I am a recent vegetarian of about 3 or 4 months and I am about to plunge into the raw/live world of food after I do a 2 day detox on grapefruit juice, orange juice and lemon juice for 2 days first and then I will begin my raw lifestyle. I have been wanting to do it for quite some time now and have been researching and saturating myself with wonderful motivational speakers, recipes, and overall knowledge of the this type of lifestyle. I knew that someday I would get up the nerve to face this challenging journey that lies ahead of me and with all of the information that I have digested within the past few days I am ready. I don't feel well, I am always tired, and I just feel clogged. I need to be cleansed so that I can be the best me that I can possibly be. So here it goes..........to a good nights rest, to the next 2-3 days of detox, and to my new found love..LIVE UNCOOKED FOOD>
CHEERS!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Peace
love
light

emerald,
as I was reading your post I felt jealous of your moment, for the discovering of raw for me (7 1/2 moons ago) was like falling in love 100 times at once and as hard as it turned out to be sometimes, ...I love the beginnings of good things; they are the most exciting times, when some invisible force propels you forward like a small child on a big swing and you giggle with overflowing emotion. the moment of falling in love.
I wish you a smooth and wonderfully mind-opening journey in the new reality that raw food reveals for you.
A true surprise party for your senses.
Love,
Mona

I would say:

*ONLY YOU can decide what is working best for you at a particular moment..YOU are YOURE own expert and have a more informed opinion on your DIET and BODY than anyone else here. Keep that in mind as each person here influences you with their own slant/experiences.

*MUCH more importantly: dont allow yourself to feel inferior, or ashamed, or less "successful" at raw by comparison to others. I very recently learned to stop worrying what people will think if i eat a damn cracker...or have raw gourmet and raw fats..or don't stick to 100% all the time. In fact, I'm learning to stop caring what people think PERIOD.

I've seen people attacked for having cooked food, alcohol, cacao, meat/dairy, gourmet raw, superfoods, oil of any kind, miso, maple syrup, and also for watching TV, taking birth control, and dying their hair...the list goes onnn...

Point being: be who you are, eat what feels good FOR YOU...don't beat yourself up for NOT DOING THIS PERFECTLY...and don't take any CRAP :)

Best of luck, and you can ALWAYS message me if you need a little extra support

With Love,

Amanda

they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found. I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen. Healing with whole foods is a great start..

I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports: 1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs 2) it feels great, but that's just the warmth and it doesn't actually do anything...

Because we believe we are dying. Fact is there is no such thing as "natural causes" or "dying of old age" death is always the result of sickness and disease, of which, all are preventable. I choose to not buy into the 'I am dying' thing, it's the...
