Give it to me Raw

I've been reading Raw Emotions over the past few weeks and I've been trying to be less controlling about what foods I eat , eating something I think I want and seeing how I feel after and if there are any consequences. I've been about 80% raw the past few weeks and detoxing HEAVILY: dry skin, weird bo, digestion issues and cravings. I haven't acted on any of my cravings yet, I really want to give raws foods a go and see what benefits I experience, but tonight was trying. I've been a vegetarian for a year but for some reason I was so close to going to get a hamburger and chicken nuggets. Mind you I don't miss meat at all and the kind of place I would have gone to would have had AWFUL quality meat but I didn't care. In the end I stopped myself my thinking about how ill I'd feel, how crappy the food would taste anyway, and of course the poor animals. AND i'm getting my first colonic tomorrow so I want things to move as quickly as possible! Does anyone know how long this period will go on for? I'm cravings foods I haven't liked in years, so random!

Can you just eat more volume so you don't binge? also, what about eating really dense herbs like a bunch or two of parsely or basil put into a pesto? Parsely is high in iron so you can make a tabouli with it and use oranges instead of tomatoes- it is also the best for making someone smell fresh...Also make a big salad with a lot of broccoli for additional protein.
