Wow!
Not only did I find Mizpah Matus’s new book The Raw Food Solution to be incredibly
informative, it was also fun to read. In the last few years I have read many books on the raw food lifestyle, and still, I found this book to be one of the best as I discovered new information on topics I thought I already knew a lot about.
In each chapter I learned something new. The book includes chapters on: greens, protein, fats, fruit, digestion and detox; as well as how to live on raw food in the real world. And did I mention the great recipes?
Ms. Matus is educated in the area of nutrition and is also a gourmet raw food chef. In this book she shares her personal experience with health challenges and how she overcame them with a raw food diet. I like that she doesn’t have a “one size fits all” mentality when it comes to the raw food diet, and so offers advice on ways to incorporate more raw food to suit where you are now.
If you are interested in this lifestyle, this is a book you should not be without! It is a great edition to my raw food library!
