alright, so i said i'd keep ya'll posted on my bc detox!
this really will be very short, since i'm doing fabulous so far.
i've been birth control free for 17days. first week was interesting. after the 3rd day of no bc, i woke up very dizzy, crampy and nauseous...(nothing some carrot ginger juice couldn't fix though)...i tried to sleep as much as i could, hydrate myself as much as i could and eat as little as possible. week 2 came and i wake up monday morning with some light spotting. this lasted about 3-4 days and i've been spot free ever since. not sure when my next cycle will resume...i SHOULD be getting my period next week sometime, but i won't hold my breath for a normal cycle to return. could be many more weeks before i see sight of another period. we shall see!
so, things have been great so far. no NOTICEABLE differences from being off the pill. not yet at least. i also have NOT noticed any break outs...which is super cool...but i could be talking too soon! again, we shall see :)
still supplementing magnesium/calcium and drinking an assortment of green juices daily. mucho important!!
just started up a fitness routine, after not stepping foot in a gym for over 2 months. awful!! i'm so out of shape and my workout today proved this. i'm over it...lazy is SO not cool anymore. time to get the heart pumpin again. focusing on running this time around. i've never been a runner so i'm going to see where i can get with this. my ultimate goal is to run some sort of marathon with my father in the near future. the man is my inspiration! 57yrs old and runs 5miles a day. go pops!!
i'm sure working out again will speed up the bc detox. i sweat like a pig today in the gym and all i thought about were all the toxins jumpin out!! good stuff...
keep moving people. your heart...& your mind will thank you! :)

here's to 40 extra bucks a month in my wallet & no more pharmacy visits! sweeeeeet!
