Give it to me Raw

Hi Everyone! I just ran into a lady yesterday who gave her kidney to her brother. And by ran- I mean literally- I hit her car with my car! Her airbag didn't deploy we were only going about 5 miles an hour in a parking lot but I hit her drivers door so it wouldn't open and then she tells me she just donated her kidney not too long ago!

But it got me thinking- ok is this a message from the universe to be thinking how I could help people who are on dialysis through raw? What do you think?

I went into a store after that and mentioned it to the checkout person and she said her uncle is on dialysis and her husband who is only 44 is as well- and he hopes to get a kidney somehow before he dies.

So has anyone had any experience with healing themselves or know someone who healed themselves through raw of serious kidney problems?

I would like to explore this topic more but am not sure how to find "raw feedback" on the topic. Thanks!

Here is some basic info for people as far as herbal supplements go. The National Kidney Foundation says to be careful with herbs so that is what makes it difficult to know what to do. http://www.kidney.org/ATOZ/atozItem.cfm?id=123

Interesting... I didn't know about the colostrum! Will check it out.

Please keep me posted on what you find -- it would be really helpful for us.

Hi Peanut! I hope you guys can figure out what works for him. Is he already on a low protein diet? Does he watch what kind of salad dressings he uses? My grandfather had kidney disease and they gave him an extensive list of what not to eat. This was bad though because it just reminded him of how much he liked to eat THOSE foods. He really liked peanuts for instance and the were not good for him to eat. But he did.

I have eaten peanuts and noticed I got lower back pain within an hour. I am not sure if it works that fast but just another reason to stay away from them.

Also it's not raw but have you heard of colostrum? It is supposed to be good for autoimmune issues and shitake mushrooms. They are so good marinateded!

My sweetheart has kidney disease -- he's at stage 3, so we're putting him on lists for transplants. In his case, the kidney disease is actually autoimmune in origin. I would love to see him stabilize through dietary changes... but he's got a long way to go with that. He has started eating a salad every day, which is a step forward.

Look forward to hearing any research you dig up!

Yeah I have felt the same way. Even though this has worked for me I know how hard the cravings cn be, how unsupportive other people can be, and the chance that you change your life around drastically and nothing happens is a chance. Also you may feel worse before you feel better which can be discouraging or cause people to stop trying to heal all together.

There are a lot of diseases that are cyclic as well now. A person can be suffering from a whole set of symptoms and then they go into remission- but then they come back. There are also a lot of diseases that are diagnosed based on one symptom when if it was looked into further it would show that they have lupus that is destroying organs versus a just one organ disease.

The information is helpful even if the person doesn't want to make a public statement. Any kind of cancer isn't good and you rarely hear of someone's cancer just going away unless they have used traditional or alternative medicine. This is a question Brian Clement can answer or other people like Ann Wigmore.

My friend had Kidney Cancer and 6 months to live according to his doctor. He was lifting weights and drinking those protein shake powder mixed with smoothies trying to gain muscles, he is a Vatta and tall and skinny so he was trying to gain weight and muscles. He freaked out and didn't want to die from Kidney Cancer so he searched the internet and decided to fast for 30 days, do colonics for 30 days and then come off it 100% Raw it worked for him and the cancer went away when he came back to his Doctor the Dr. was totally amazed and told him to "keep doing what you are doing it is working for you." I met him at a RAW Potluck Party but he does not want to write a book or talk about it too much because he says it worked for him but it might not work for others or anyone and he does not want to be responsible for other people's health and that they have to decide on their own. I thought his story was incredible! RAW saved his life and he is completely 100% Raw to this day. I don't have his contact or info but that is his story, he says he has medical proof of before and after. I have told a few people this story and they told me it is "dangerous" or "risky".

Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.

I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.

Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...
