Give it to me Raw

I was recently doing some research on sustainable agriculture and I came across an article that I feel is a MUST READ, especially for those of us who promote natural healthy living and support a sustainable organic future. This is a brilliantly written article that is well thought out and proposes realistic alternatives to a broken irresponsible system of agricultural production.

The article was recently featured in The New York Times called Farmer in Chief written by Michael Pollan, author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma and In Defense of Food. I encourage you to please take the time to read it and pass it along to your contacts.

The article addresses local and global effects of conventional industrial agriculture. What Michael Pollan calls the “sun-food” agenda proposes local, organic and humane large-scale systems of agriculture. His suggestions are brilliantly innovative yet practical and realistic!

Again, please take the time to read the article, and include the link on your newsletter/blog for others to read. Our future depends on spreading the awareness of alternative solutions that can heal our planet. Thank you kindly, and blessings of radiant health!

By the way, Dhrumil just informed me that President-elect Barack Obama read Michael Pollan's Farmer in Chief article! See Obama's brief response:

Me walking between China and Dragon as I get ready to turn them out into a big pasture. They're my buds, they stay real close to me, one on each side, whenever I got out to where they are. It is very sweet! :)

It sounds like you are not eating enough fruit. If you eat more sweet fruit, your desire for candy and other processed foods that are sweet will go away.
