Give it to me Raw

I bought tons of mason jars and filled them all with nuts and seeds...lots and lots of seeds every damn nut under the sun. sounds like a good idea?

VERY WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone should have mentioned that i would end up feeling like a clogged pipe. For the past 5 days I have been unable to eat nuts/seeds. I've got sprouted almonds in my fridge and i can't bring myself to make nut mylk much less anything else with them.I think the clogged feeling has nudged me into old eating patterns (cooked). If your new to raw and your ready this just know that when you see others saying that you become sensitive to smells after eating this way....its very true. I think i smell exactly like what i've been eating and its distracting and gross. I need a rub down with some lucious greens (figuratively) to get the smell of sin off me plus the feeling of too many nuts and seeds out of my system. I will take a nut/seed break.

Now what am i suppose to do with a pantry full of nuts?

I got a little nut happy at the natural food store this week too. After a summer of not 100% raw, I figured it would help me ease back into things. I must admit I have a cashew fetish but after this week...the way felt "clogged", I am calling it quits for a while. I started fasting this afternoon and think i am going to give the old pipes a rest tomorrow too. What did you wind up doing with the nuts???

yea Quintessence with all their nutty a$$ entrees, actually made me begin to hate nuts. Usually on two pounds of apples, chocolate pancakes and goji berries these days. I'm starting to get sick to my stomach again with just the notion of stuffing my face for no reason. I feel a fast coming on real soon. Def in the next 30 days. How are u doing though?

Yeah I was suprised how I could go without nuts- I thought I would need them to feel full but now I mostly use them in salad dressings and soups- but not a lot- maybe an eighth of a cup. If you have a dehydrator you could make crackers and things that can be stored for months. Nut milk can be used as an entree as a base for a soup and won't be so heavy as just a drink. You can blend with collard greens for a green soup.. The crackers you could get really creative with and make in fun shapes and give out at thanksgiving even.. or just have enough to give curious friends. It's nice to make a bunch of choices like italian, indian, etc. It's good to have them around if you think you may get really busy and starving..
