Gigantic Jackfruit!
Yesterday we were fortunate to get given this huge Jackfruit!
Big enough to sit on and plenty big enough for a fruitarian banquet.
I weighed it and it is 18kg, or for the Imperial among us 40lbs!
Jackfruit is Cappi's favourite so he is mighty happy.

Comment by aishwarya on May 22, 2009 at 2:55pm - ooh how i LOOOVE jackfruits. they are the most gorgeous and divine dessert. my grandmom and da is also in love with them. i wish they were available for longer period here and in greater quantities!!!!! we have two jackfruit trees in the garden now. always lucky to have some jacks in the year than being somewhere were there are none! :p

he looks so happy! i know how he feels. Jackfruit is the best of 2 words for a kid. The taste of a fruit and the chewy gummy sensation.
I had some a few weeks ago but it wasn't as ripe as i would have liked..but thats what happens when you live in an urban setting. you can't always get the best (tree ripened). I hope you both enjoy the fruit

It hasn't faded any yet, but I've only heard of problems with some of the phosphorus inks and ours don't have any in. But who knows, the approved UV inks have only been out a few years and they're more expensive so not a lot of people take the opt...

Yeah, he doesn't look like the healthiest 62 year old. Well, at least he seems to look healthy at a glance, but he looks a bit aged for 62, and he seemed to have a stiff jaw or something going on there.

i dont know,cos we are sensitive deep beings whos personalities lifestyles and needs vary?some of us are recovering from illness,some arent..some live in the tropics some live in freezing cold climates....
