So I decided to do a 24 hour juice feast. I had already started it unintentionally by making a melon juice 4pm monday and then drinking Kombucha all night and not eating. I wanted to see if I could do a full 24 hours. I am notoriously bad at fasting so I was very forgiving with myself. here's how the day panned out today:
woke up, had juice of 3 oranges.
11am had green juice (which was actually made in the blender and strained)
1pm more of the green juice
3pm melon juice
(kombucha tea some time in between)
6pm beet/carrot/celery juice
8pm: starved! two bananas and two little cacao balls
Well it was a true 24 hours. I wish I had made it through the night but I do not like going to bed on an empty stomach. When I try it again I will drink more juice in the morning and have lots more melon on hand and fruits to juice. But i think I did ok. I've never made green juice myself , just had it when out, so now I know i can do it at least. I will do it again.
