Today I went all out on the juicing front. Three mixes: #1 was a green juice, consisting of cucumber, celery, lemon, lime, ginger, parsley, cilantro, and apple. #2 a fruity blend of tangerine, blood orange, apple, carrot, ginger, and lemon. #3 simple cantaloupe juice. This week I made Shannon Marie's cinnamon twists with icing and raspberries and it was to die for! The icing is pure raw crack. Even if you don't have a dehydrator or time to make the twists, the icing is a great stand-alone recipe. I can't wait to try her raspberry swirl recipe next. Today I'm making a batch of cinnamon crispies and cocoa crispies with sprouted buckwheat from "Raw Food, Real World." I have some extra and I'm thinking of experimenting with a goji cereal. I got the phone call I was waiting for on Friday - the one telling me I've been accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program! I'm thrilled, and can't wait to get started. Well sort of. My first semester is gross anatomy all day long, five days a week. With cadavers. But the knowledge gained will be worth it.
