Give it to me Raw

MONO recovery and support?? HELP!! SOS

The mono virus has landed itself in my bloodstream!!! Oh no! System invasion! alert! Here's an SOS to my vibrant community!

So I've been feeling icky ick ick ick for a couple of weeks now (very unlike me. Usually when I'm a sicky, it's two days of rest and lots of water and aromatherapy baths...and then I am my normal rockstar princess self again) But this darned one had been persisting...and my housemate and her beau had shitty stuff going on too, so she got checked out by the reg doctor (i usually am stubborn and stay far away from the medical system) and came home with a positive mono spot thing.
not so long story, short: I gots it too.

(sad face) I stopped by my integrative pharmacy today and the herbalist gave me some super herbal support recommendations (an anti-viral, and a lymph thingy) and then said "go to bed, go directly to bed...and see you in 6 to 8 weeks!!"

Ok. This is like a death sentence for someone like me who likes living life in VERB form (aka action words) ---sigh.-- Universe says, "slow down caitlin."
Very well virus, I accept your duel. We shall fight it out man to man...erm, woman...whatever. (I'm a little loopy--haven't had much social contact lately...)

If anyone has experience with mono, or some love to give, or some movie recommendations (hah.) please drop me a line or leave a little note here.
thanks community.
xx c.

Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause. I get them too and they come and go.

Pink Lady Apple, I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat! I stop getting them after I did an extended water...

I really believe that is possible to heal all of the body...regeneration of tissue is not a far fetched concept. There is a case of a man who re-grew a finger, recently! I have to dig to find the article, but I read it on naturalnews.com. Mind you...
