Give it to me Raw

Hi all!
I'm introducing green smoothies to my girlfriend and want to know what type of supplements to refer her to. I started her with a basic Go Green smoothie from Whole Foods (apple juice, banana, and kale). At home i use vitamineral Greens but think it's a little too potent and expensive for her to try right now...Any suggestions in what to greens that don't taste AS extreme...and anything else to add to the smoothies...(we just started training early mornings usually 2 hour workouts, so the smoothies come after....anything with a boost and that is filling would be great....) Thanks so much and enjoy the day :)))) ...ALSO, does anyone incorporate coffee in their smoothie or know how to...i do like a glass in the morning but would like to know if anyone has a good recipe of their own...

spinach and romaine lettuce are milder. also, mache (also called corn salad) is mild, though more expensive and ive only seen it in the sealed bags. mixed baby greens tend to be fairly mild as well. kale is too strong for me personally, so i think you started her already with one of the stronger greens :) remember you can also use herbs like cilantro, parsley, and mint. mint might be a good one. if you have anywhere to forage, nettles are also mild and almost a bit sweet. likewise, chickweed is very mild as well.
