Hi,
I have actual problems with my liver and gallblader too.
I´m doing the liver cleanse now.
You can find it at youtube if you search for "liver flush".
It doesn´t hurt at all, its relatively tasty, and inspite of not having stones(doctor said it)... there were some there coming out.
By the way, the planet of the liver "Jupiter" is going backwards until October 15th.
I think I´ts got something to do with it, and its (astrologically) a good and effective time for a cleanse.
Good luck
with it.

Lecithin is great because it goes so well in raw desserts! Makes everything so creamy.
I did the liver flush with grapefruit juice, olive oil and epsom salts and it was extremely unpleasant, but some people swear by it.

I just did this cleanse. It worked very well. Some people are against the epsom salts. The book is very informative and you can talk to the author.

Len Watson claims to have a really good one that uses coffee enemas. He does even more stone softening stuff. I'm about to start this one.

I've tried David Jubbs and found it to be too time consuming with not so many stones. Some like it though and it's coffee based.

David Wolfe's in his Success book I felt was a joke compared to the one above.

going raw usually results in rapid weight loss. for most rapid weight loss means formation of stones because the body is going through more fat than the liver and gall bladder can efficiently process.

there are natural methods of dissolving gallstones - i.e. non-surgical - but they take a long time. lecithin, peppermint, turmeric, milk thistle, etc. all have proven activity in preventing gallstones and reducing the existing gallstone mass when taken consistently.

vegetable protein (soy, rice, buckwheat) supplements also show proven activity in reducing gallstone development and dissolving existing stones. again the time frame is probably not hte most convenient - but this stuff is effective.

the cleanses i'm not 100% sure about and gallstone attacks can be dangerous. so check with a qualified practitioner so you can get a program going to solve your issues.

good luck.

I think a liver cleanse is good to do after losing a lot of weight on raw.
I got gall stones and had to have my gall bladder out after losing weight and going raw. Not blaming it on eating raw but maybe the rapid weight loss and sludge trying to exit the body created stones not sure.
I think there are lemon and oil liver cleanses or chinese herb ones. Hope it all goes well.

Hi family. I've been eating 100% raw for the past 40 days. Before that, I was about 70% raw for a few years, and I struggled with bulimia (purging the cooked food that I ate). No purging, no cooked food for 40 days. My cheeks are slightly puffy ...

im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.

I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....

The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while, also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.
