Give it to me Raw

Five years of chronic pain and I just found out that gallstones are the issue. Thank the Universe that I was in so much pain to scream at the clerk on the phone, making her find the soonest appointment for me. It was a pediatrician. Who'da thought that a pediatrician would be able to find something within one appointment and two lab tests that five years of doctors and pain specialists couldn't find.
She's referring me to a surgeon, but I don't understand the logic in taking out an organ when it serves a purpose and can be healed.
This means no slacking off though. This means no more eating cookies and justifying it by saying they make me happy. No more blaming my poor diet habits on my new relationship. I need a juicer. I need support. I need time; I want a new job.

It's healing time.

Call up Dr. Jubb in NYC. He seems to be a caring person.

Me again, I say calcification based on my study for a month of so of D Wolfe's new Longevity program. He links many modern ills (like kidney stones, gallstones, arthritis, plaque, with calcification caused by bad calcium (like CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS), many things, lousy water for another example.

It's a very involved study, lemme tell ya, book, cds, dvds, i really am getting a lot out of it. There are many things he recommends to dissolve "bad calcium", perhaps you can find someone with the materials. I really recommend it. That shouldn't be too difficult. IF, of course, you are so inclined. I wish you the best.

Five years? I wish I knew something for ya!

My two cents: calcification. Do your own due diligence. Best of my love, YB

Joke alert: If it's a penny for your thoughts, why do you get to put your two cents in?

Have you read the Andreas Moritz book? I found it really helpful in learning about the functions of the liver and gallbladder. You can find them cheap on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Liver-Gallbladder-Miracle-Cleanse-All-Natural/dp/1569756066/ref=pd_sim_b_1

milk thistle. turmeric. rice protein powder. ginger. garlic. soy lecithin granules.

all viable alternatives for dissolving gallstones and might help you keep the gall bladder. you can search in google scholar for studies done by naturopathic doctors that show immediate benefits from the above. definitely find a naturopathic doctor to get you on a protocol.

the gallbladder is not vestigial and extraneous like modern medicine asserts and there are long term complications to its removal.

good luck and good health.

Start supporting you gallbladder so that it can heal & the symptoms will go away. You will be in a lot less pain if you do gallbladder cleanses than if you take it out and have to deal with all those complications for the rest of your life. Juice when you can until then increase the amounts of tart apples. Check craigslist & yard sales for a juicer, you do not have to start with 'the best'.
I highly recommend the cleansing tips from The Life Food Recipe Book by David Jubb.
The following items also contribute toward gallstone formation:
1. coffee
2. chocolate
3. cola drinks
4. red meat
5. preservatives
6. artificial sweeteners
7. tobacco
8. aspirin
9. salt
10. alcohol

ooo, i wish i knew anything helpful. I DO know a fantastic doctor, actually 2, in Los Angeles. I am going to Dr. Habib Sadeghi, D.O. , and there is also Dr DeAndrea, MD, ND. I would call them both and ask if you can fax your background and some questions first as they are both about $300 for the first visit. Call and ask to speak to each directly and if each feels confident in helping you to find alternative ways. I know hat Dr Sadeghi is usually booked 2 months, but Im sure he would take you sooner if you could talk to him, he is very kind and listens.
See them both here:

Yeah, I'm planning on it. I'm just going to see the surgeon to amuse my parents and anybody who asks what I've done.
I'm afraid the conventional people in my life (read: everyone) won't give me support after I refuse to have the thing taken out. My bosses and parents probably wont give me any more sympathy or let me miss work when I'm in pain if I "didn't take care of it in the first place"

Thank you Wrenn that is what I thought too and your comments are very helpful! I think it would also be cool at $.99 for 5 TOTALLY new raw recipes and then it can be a series of them at $.99 each...thanks for your comment!
