
For the past month, I've been eating lots of greens and feeling great! Then I slept over at a friends and had some cookies, etc. and I felt just awful for the whole day and the day after that. As soon as I got back home, I made a beautiful bountiful salad and a green juice. I've been drinking lots of ginger tea since, to give extra support and aid to my digestive system. I even made fresh ginger tea with fresh ginger root (sweetened with stevia of course). I also added some cayenne flakes for an extra kick. I have to say, i love the combination of cayenne in ginger tea!
So I've come back to my optimum diet. And I bought some raw food bars for next time I go over to my friend's place.
BTW, here's the yumalicious green juice I made today:
3 cucumbers (peeled)
5-6 romaine lettuce leaves
3/4 of a bag of spinach
a couple of handfuls of dandelion greens
a couple of handfuls of fresh mint
1 lime
It really gave me a kickstart burst of energy!! Yay for happy green juices! :)
