On today's video I had the pleasure of interviewing a couple of Spring Breakers (if only all kids on Spring Break were this precious). Taylor & her good friend, Kirsten, have been enjoying a week away from the classroom and they actually came to me while I was working, asking if I'd make them a green smoothie. I'm so delighted that the kids are requesting a healthy snack instead of potato chips, cookies, soda or other such junk food. Housto… Continue
In today's video I discuss a few life practices that promote cleansing and healing while discouraging premature aging. I wonder what day I'll be on when I finally lose that double chin....Scheesh. Anyway, everything is going well and it's been a busy, exciting week. I've been doing a lot of writing as I'm working on 2 articles for the premiere issue of Raw Fu Magazine. If you haven't logged on to subscribe, I want to encou… Continue
It's been a couple of days since I shared with you what I've been drinking. The truth is, I've been really boring and have been drinking almost the same thing for the last 3 days. I woke up feeling like I was starting to lose my juicing enthusiasm and after thinking about it, it's likely because my palate needs things switched up a little. Every Sunda… Continue
Since Tulsa is practically shut down due to ice, being home-bound has given me the time to do a few projects that I've been wanting to do. This slide show is a pictorial look back at many of my amazing raw adventures of 2008. I had the good fortune to be able to travel and connect with so many people from all over the world and I can only hope that 2009 will bring more of the same.

One of the strong selling points of the raw food lifestyle is its amazing desserts. From time to time, I still have trouble trying to fathom that recipes so decadently delicious can actually be nutritious and health promoting. but with most raw desserts, it is true. Recently there has been lots of controversy on whether raw agave nectar is a healthy sweetener or just as disruptive to the body as pro… Continue

I am guessing everyone around this circle has heard of Juice Feasting by now. I have just a bit of a twinge or a vibe that the folks who don't feel called into this global experience could possibly be getting weary of all of the hubbub, but I suspect it'll all level out. We're really all just one big juicy family around here anyway, right?
So, my personal enthusiasm has climaxed and I'm ready to get the show on the road. In the morning, I am being interviewed by my local paper about my… Continue
I've been on the road toward seeking health and balance within my
body for a long time. My health challenges started early. It was
around the age of 8 that I began suffering from persistent,
unexplainable intestinal problems. I would often miss the school bus
because I was struggling with severe cramps, pain and diarrhea. These
ongoing "stomach problems" created tremendous stress for me on many
levels. The doctors performed lots of tests, but there was never a
diagnosis.
I am starting a 30 day water fast tomorrow. I am hoping to get even more clarity in this fast. I want to start off the new year with a clearer mind and I want to get off this bad eating cycle. Also I want to release this depression that has crept ...
