Hi! I am looking for ideas for things to do with all of the pulp I am getting each day from juicing. So far I've made some yummy cookies (carrot/apple/cuke pulp with raisins/sea salt/agave- dehydrated) but I need more ideas. Any suggestions??? Thanks a million!!!!
All my love ;)

A new friend asked me to email her my juicing routine, so I thought I should put it up here too :) (Whoo hoo Blaire!!)
So my juicing routine starts with a big produce trip- the following will last you about 4-5 days, depending on how much water you drink- the more water you drink the less hungry you will become and then your supplies last about a day or two longer:
8 cucumbers,
3 or 4 bunches celery
12 lemons
4 limes
A big piece of ginger
a few tomatoes
garlic
1 bunch beets
2 or 3 heads of kal…

Hello everyone! I know this site is about food (the BEST food on earth, raw food), but I also know that anyone here who's been on a rebounder loves them, and that rebounders are a part of raw culture. I will be studying for an exam for the next month, and while I work out daily I can think of absolutely nothing better than to take 10 minute rebounding breaks every hour or so, however I don't know which are the best rebounders. I'd like to buy one very very soon, any suggestions? Thank you so muc…

When President-elect Barack Obama was born, numerous states
would have prohibited his black Kenyan father from marrying his white Kansan
mother. The Voting Rights Act was still a few years away, and the Supreme
Court's order to desegregate schools was being fought tooth and nail. Look at
how far we have come. Who alive then would have believed that just a few short
decades later, Americans would elect their first black
president?…

This is the addy of my blog- put it in your favorites and lemme know what you think now and then. I have never done anything like this (I mean really, no one has, just those that have already!) and would love to hear your responses. I am really super busy this week so I will be slacking in the blogging department but I'll have posts nearly everday anyway, they'll just be short and sweet. Then I'll include pics, recipes, inspirational material, after…

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I've been wanting to do this for a while, and have committed to tomorrow being day 1, but finally tomorrow is today (I just realized it is after midnight) and I'm a little freaked out!!! 92 days of not eating????!!!!?!?!?!?!! CRAZY!!! My 'last supper' was tonight at Quintessence. I had a coconut water, Chipotle Cheese Roll, Big Moc, and banana split sundae. Well, I split the Big Moc and dessert with my boyfriend actually, and ate a bit of his Italian pizza. He LOVED the raw foo…

Wow this is soooooooo yummy!
Everything raw organic (or as close to organic as possible)
This happened completely by accident! I was looking for a way to eat my 'blueberry/goji/cocoa nib/carob powder/coconut water (just a bit to coat the blueberries)/small sprinkly celtic sea salt/a little tahini sometimes/agave best dish ever' with some sea minerals, as David Wolfe (he is so radiant) eloquently explained to us (in White Plains last night) is the proper way to use these…

My 14-day juice feast ended after 10 days. I am not at all dissapointed in myself though. I did the best that I could do and I think I did pretty damn good. I ended it after the 10th day because I went to a work-out class the morning of the 10th and did not just feel low on energy, but felt like I couldn't really move much. I just felt weak. I might not have been drinking enough juice, sometimes only 2 or 2.5 quarts if I just wasn't really hungry (the hunger DID finally wear off, thank God!), bu…

Finally raw and loving it! Just had a crazy salad of raspberries, beets, banana, blueberries, almonds, and pecans with a little agave nectar as my post-workout snack. That was so delicious. Seriously. And satisfying! I feel no need to eat more, and no craving for sweets. Just had to share my excitement!

What better place to track my 14-day green juice feast then here?
Today is day 1. After just doing a 3 day and 2 day feast (broken by a weekend of friends/family who would never understand), I am now ready for a 14-day feast.
Time for breakfast!
Breakfast was not so green after all- more like orange/red. Juiced carrots, cucumber, red pepper, cauliflower, and sugar snap peas. Was rushed for time. However, somehow (fate?) I was assigned a room at the clinic which allows me to go on community websi…
