Lying awake in the (very) early morning moonlight, thoughts skud idly through my sky of mind ; eclectic pop-ups from heaven knows where. Suddenly, out of this 'blue' I recall that the Scottish word 'braw' means beautiful, and how apt this seems. I am a great fan of analogies- and the cyberworld has opened up so many we can apply to consciousness and life-on-earth. It's been a curious experience being under the same roof for 6 weeks- at first I slept, slept, slept- and then I continued the life of a lesser-spotted and reclusive sloth, seldom leaving to go out on the street, out in the wide, wild world.

The chickens are in, the anti Mr Fox fence is switched on, the fire is roaring and I've run out of REAL food, so I'm hitting on noodles garnished with gratitude. When I first REALLY got into RAW, I was inspired by a quirky, delicious young man- stretching my panorama of the possible beyond the little island of constraint I had shuffled on to. Those were heady days. Even though, I do agree we create our reality, I also see in ways that our unhealed songs have a way of singing themselves out. Last summer I spent a blissful ten days tucked away in my sister's countryside cottage, with fresh greens growing on my doorstep, and only a happy fat cat and some young chickens and their parents to feed. Nothing has ever quite compared to the paradise of taking just four or five steps to 'pick my lunch'- a taste of utopia that spoils forever the palate for mass produce.

That letter's turned out to be quite an eye opener, judging by an upturn of hits and sales on some of the links that were in it. I must get onnit more- purely from an addictive perspective of course ;-).....in the midst of a few bland, borderline low months...it was easily as good as a raw choc buzz.
Talking of which- I spent the day at The Raw Chocolate Company Factory today, so I'm surprised I can even type this! Planning more PR now, tickled by what a Hobo-ette can manage.

'Here's the up-shot on the Daily Mail sequel- I must admit there are so many young and gorgeous Raw bodettes I would have gladly traded in as me for the photo shoot, but hey, one is as one is- and the photographer was a lovely guy called Nigel, who brought along his daughter Michaela. It's pretty bright and breezy on the Raw Media front in the UK- Jess Michaels made a 2 page spread in the jolly old Daily Wail, which has a huge readership and isn't easy to get into- so Good on Jess! I read the article and sent off an e-mail to them straight away- as, even though all Raw News is Good News, I fancied pointing out a few things- after all, as well as all the positive detox- raw food does taste great!

I'm in my third pod since December 28th- and it's only the 3rd of Jan!- no longer blessed with a juicer, eating slightly more free-range, and absorbing all the different vibrations of the places I 'land' in- which can sometimes be quite a whack. None of this is particularly new to me : long ago I had a 13 year stint of life on the move. much of it in the States.
