I've started my first day, with weaning of another med'! I take med's 3 x's a day, so I wean off med's, before I go to sleep, so I can sleep thru any annoying detox affects. I am also doing a 7 day detox, with today being a day of liquids only and tonight I will eat some fruit, for dinner. Then it's back to those yummy greens, sprouts, salads and smoothies! My daughter recieved a gift of a small blender and was excitedly telling me how she made her first smothie! She's too cute! ~

What a day...but II was with hubby, whom I'm madly in luv with! forever!!!!!!!! I had an appt' with my neuro' doc' and got a thumbs up! I've been able to stay out of the ER, if I get med's fast enough! And to think I was in a SCU, with specialists wanting to put me on life support! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...run for your lives!!!! lol! She mentioned that the med's I was taking, were a heavy cocktail...but if it keeps me out the hospital....riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

I am weak today and had to take some med's to stop a seizure...I'm not complaining, I rather feel like this than be in pain! And mentally I can handle it, The sun is pouring into the living room and I feel so blessed with the plants and hubby, sitting with me...life is surrounding me! ~

It has not been a good week for me, I've been having a hard time dealing with my seizures and on top of that I have not felt good about myself. But the feelings have passed...yay! By sticking close to my belief system, that someday there will be no more sickness and staying raw, has helped beyond what I could have ever done, on my strength!~

In the 3 weeks, we've lost 5 friends...gasp!, two from my earlier blogs and a 23 y/o, male..married 5 yrs'. They found that he had a brain anuerism, it was the largest and the worst that the doc's ever saw. His wife, crawled into bed w/ him, even when he was on life support. She didn't eat and may be hospitaized to help her get thru this awful shock! My kids used to play w/ him and his sister. I have a condition where I need to take med's. I had to refill my 'pill box' and found that because of the similiar color and size of a pill....I mixed them together...gasp! Since going on this raw journey, I've been able to start weaning off my med's and! I shed 53 lbs!, all since this past summer! ; 0

The moon is a full moon, tonight and hubby and I have enjoyed the sight! Tonight it's pink/orange and very striking, in the dark sky! And what's the most amazing, is that we are all under the same moon...that's what I told my kids, when they were young. Now they can lQQk up in the sky and no matter how far away we are, from each other...we are still connected! What a concept!

We went out today and when we came back into the house, there was a gust of wind and it blew small snow crystals all over me...I just stood there w/ the snow drifting over me and the sun was shining on the crystals...all those colors! How magical!

We have several birdfeeders, placed near our windows. One is in front of the living room window, so that when I need to rest I can watch the birds eat and watch their antics and the different species. I always thot I wanted to be a bird, until I realized that there are cold days, storms, hot weather...but you know? I would luv to fly! ~~~~

The other night I treated hubby to dinner. We set out, after dark, and we were going to mail out some stuff. We got into the lane, to turn left. I heard this screech...I lQQked out me window and there were headlights aiming right at me!
Hubby said that there was a car turning right, the person behind that car, became impatiant and sped up and passed the car, in the breakdown lane! And that car had to come to a screaming halt!

Hubby's DD and her son came over for a visit that was incredible! Hubby's daughter is into health food and lives right around the corner from a health food store...drool! (if you can't find a products, it's a pretty good chance, you'll find it there!) I wanted to put out something w/ tea. Well, I made a smoothie and put it in a bowl, put it out on the back stoop and it froze. I brot it in and it warmed to room temp, then I served it as pudding...A HIT! : o! We had so much fun!!!!

I found how far to keep hubby and I are willing to go to keep our little plant alive! Being winter, sunshine can be shy and hide!....but when it smiles, it's wonderfuly warm and we chase the sunlight all over the house! LOL! I've been working on this, as I can get really overwhelmed and this brings a seizure, knocking at my door...I can putter and do an activity, but the quiet seems to do the trick. I had a seizure in my sleep, which can happen, from time to time.
I also find music works wonders too! How I luv to sing, mother taught us how to sing and harmonizing. Thank you, mother! ; ) One of those joyous moments..which were few and far between, but they were there!!

What a challange! But then that's what makes us stronger, eh? I've found myelf more creative, and experimentle, this winter, being my first! And I'm not going to wallow on a 'pity-potty' when I need a little warmth!

Last Sat', we had a service for our stroke friend. It was nice to meet his family and share the everyday things when we spent time with him!
And there was another service for our friend, involved in the car accident. I wasn't involved with getting to know his family as my attention was toward his wife, whom I've known for over 20 years! It was brought out, in the service, that we were the last ones to see him alive and I'm going to share those moments, when he was helping us out, with his wife.…

Just got a call that our dear friend has been put on a morphine drip and it's just a matter of time now...it's bittersweet...since he's totally blind, in and out of consiousness and with his left side and right leg being parylized it would be better if he went to sleep. He wouldn't want it any other way. I don't feel that death is natural, as we all strive for the best possible health, for ourselves. And I don't feel that the way we die is natural either...

Last Sat' we got a call from an older friend, who asked my hubby a strange question, but that's our friend, who has survived many little strokes.
