So I touched ground in San Fran yesterday, picked up my truck, enjoyed a great huge salad with my good girl friends and am staying at my friend Deidra's place -- a little studio nestled in a gorgeous bamboo grove in Berkeley (one block from Whole Foods!).

The weather is ridiculously perfect.. Talked to some neighbors about urban gardening and CSA initiatives.. So many people here have organic gardens in their backyards, it's awesome..
