difference

well I've finished my little exile and moving back to my town (NYC) it's been a whirlwind of process...of getting shit done and trying to be as kind to myself with my own healing as well. lot of artwork, alot of writing, alot of playing, some loving :), and of course last but not least the raw food stuff one of the things I've grown MOST conscious of..and I like to think I try to emphasis most over everything is the importance and acceptance of difference so many things are simil… Continue

EVE...

Hi, I've published my first book that culminates 2 years of research, writing, and editing-to-essentials of what I think are the most ignored concepts when entering into ANY new terrain..whether its raw foods..spirituality etc.. EVE... Thanks to all the folks who I tested the files on. I just now TODAY have converted everything so it reads in multi-document pdf (like a regular PDF ebook - with arrows) So please check back for a more accessibl… Continue

Stay Tuned!

Just finished my first book working on the final edits ...Human Nature...Are we DESIGNED to be good to be blissful at our default setting? If so are we programmed or kept hidden from this truth? The answers to these questions are NOT simple...but practical soultions for achieving piece of mind and purpose ARE to those who seek it. Imagine: if all you were was 100 watts of energy And you could use that 100 watts to make any kind of shapes and movies that you wanted. Well...after a time… Continue

Dissecting new-age 'conflict resolution' tactics.

from http://sieglove.blogspot.com/ Theres a new science called holodynamics where the logic is: in any conflict, you met that bad person so you could have the opportunity to change them and identify that they just needed love and understanding. While I think there is great truth to this, you can't spend your life turning around 'assholes' (unless that is your passion or profession, which in that case, needs a better title) when presented with the situation however, you just want to be able t… Continue

What I Saved from the Conventional Billionaire/Organic Debate

David Murdock, founder of Dole foods has a mantra, David says the real secret to his vitality is what he eats. "I try to eat fruits and vegetables exclusively," he says. "I never eat any saturated fats." but that isn't good enough for raw foodists apparently this original post was deleted..which removed all the following responses. I didn't catch/save my last few posts which is unfortunate because I think that really pinched what I was trying to say, but heres the rest verbatim with a rewrite… Continue

Condemnation Energy

When battling addictions, usually the impulse is to not only go cold turkey and ignore process (which distances one form others, and generally gives poor results long term) but to judge others for participating in the same habits they are QUITTING, OR in NEEDING some kind of acceptance on their terms. One can drop the bad TAKER habits.....but what about wanting acceptance from TAKER culture? Or needing some NEW kind of acceptance. How do people commonly get out a hole? by adoptingContinue

Karma and the "Health Police"

I'm not an expert in all spiritual teachings, but from MY research, and understanding..karma is something that takes place over a universal timeline. so all creatures, anything with a spirit, are playing out their role and lessons in life based on some previous creation of karma. and are the present 'incarnation' or manifestation of past karma. To the chagrin of the ego, from the perspective of that same timeline..these manifestations are basically 'meaningless' Many people are coming from a po… Continue

I love it cause it is an intense workout over a short period of time. My son had a "jump rope for heart" week at school that got me into it. It uses different muscles than running and also improves coordination a lot, and I was surprised how well ...

Survivorman is crazier, did you see that episode in the desert when he started talking to birds? But I still like Grylls better overall. I feel like there is more of a point in watching the show, you feel like you're learning something, lots of tr...

That's a pretty typical scene in a high fruit household. That an a ton of bananas. My dryer next to the washer has stacks of fruit carts on it. :)

Right--it's good in smoothies too. It's a necessity when there's no fruit in there!

In water with a twist of lemon or lime, in teas, in water (with flavored stevia), and with millet or quinoa.

Hi Lizz, I haven't tried yacon; I think it's still too sweet, technically. I believe stevia is truly the only natural sweetener that is not a form of sugar. When I add vanilla flavor and a little coconut oil to the stevia, it's kind of like maple...
