Im just beginning to explore ways to get around Ecuador enough to know what part of it would feel good to live in. (Ecuador is a starting fantasy, it may be another country, Id like to buy or build a farm/house or jungle beach house in S. America, someday. )
I need to learn Spanish and the intricacies of the culture; how not to get in trouble.
My BF and I would love… Continue

For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers." ~M. Scott Peck

Ooo, this is like our super pro bio version of one of those Starbucks pumpkin-whip-coffee-ice-cream-floats-whatevers they make.
Kinda warm and comfy-wintery mood to it, but blended with ice it is super chill sweet reward for doing it all or nothing at all.
Ah-ha I do not embarrass easily. I think I need a script, man do I seem spacey! Some of it laughable. Uh-hem, I will not be getting a raw show.
Please enjoy the worst editing ever, and here it is taking a bit long to load....but the ice cream is great!

EAT IT RIGHT AWAY! IT DOES NOT FREEZE WELL - JUST GETS HARD AND ICY. YOU CAN RE-BLEND BUT IT IS NOT THE… Continue
I have been away from home this summer; first Oahu, then Big Bear, and now Cape Cod. All offer such spectacular pristine nature to hike and run through. I have been accompanying my elderly employer for most of it first to Hawaii and now on Cape Cod and this is a very isolated life; she is 79 with ALZ. So, when I can,to I break free to run thru the woods or on the beach or up a mountain, with my camera. It has been so wonderful just being alone and quiet lost in nature; just me and the wind and s… Continue
Apply sole solution and leave to dry on face, rub it all off with your paws until there is no more and your skin is smooth. Makes a nice mini-dermabrasion, the fine salts all dried and your skin tightens like a mini facelift. Then follow the Sole on face with fresh aloe or fruit rub (I like to rub grapes or pineapple on my face) and glow like a 14 yr old runway model. Finish with a quick rinse and light layer of coconut oil. You are RADIANT! Continue
This drink is like....uh, goes up to 11 (Spinal Tap reference :))
It really does taste like 11 levels and lifts me up to the 11th level. That is 1 more past 10!
1 serving
mix in Vitamix until frothy - the tocos make a sweet latte-ish froth on top in any drink mixed in vitamix
Juice of 2 lemons, or - I just peel 1-2 lemons and throw whole into blender
1 tbl coconut oil
couple spoonfuls tocos
about tbl maca
2 tsp Merlin's mix
1 tsp 3 Immortals Tea powder (Shaman Shack)
1-2 tsp slippery elm

Instant gratification for a sweet tooth, and wicked good for you too!
You can do the supersimple version, which I do, or add-ons for more complex taste.
The Jarrah Tree Bee Pollen is sold by Vivapura (http://www.vivapura.net/) and only a few other suppliers. It is ESSENTIAL! The taste and texture is like no other pollen; it is crunchy and sweet and tastes like graham cracker crumble crust. It is also tested to be the most potent pollen in the world, so says Gabriel Cousens. I also use only Bioac… Continue
Vitamin D Fortified Mushrooms
By Brierley Wright, Natural Solutions
from: http://www.care2.com/greenliving/vitamin-d-fortified-mushrooms.html
There are two ways to get vitamin D. You can sit in the sun (sans sunscreen for a few minutes) and soak up the UVB rays, which our skin cells use to make the vitamin. Or you can get it from food. Unfortunately, few foods are rich in D: fatty fish, such as mackerel, sa… Continue
when I first moved to NYC I lived on Upper East Side. getting on the train was a fight to the death; piggy large white frad grad grown men would step on me and push me back so I would eventually miss that train, and sometimes it would happen twice, missing two in a row. a-holes. I hated the UES. moved to east village. not so many waiting to go work there in the morning! all artists and musicians and squatters at the time.

I feel like my last chapter is ending; It was titled Stagnance. 8 months of isolation, depression and confusion. That after 6 yrs of peace and contentment and what seemed like great balance and generosity from the Universe. This slump really threw me upside down. I thought I knew myself. And then I retreated backwards, back into time like I was 15 yrs old again and had yet not learned a thing. What do I know now? Today I feel I am being offered an invitation that I am ready to accept, but it doe… Continue

To: Director of National Park Service, Fran Mainella
Cell phone towers are sprouting up all across the National Park System. But the National Park Service does not know how many or where they are. Instead, telecommunications companies set the location, size and number of towers in deals with individual parks.
The Director of the National Park Service needs to hear your voice. Si… Continue

‘The Wild Horse Is Us’
An advocate of the American West's mustangs blasts a proposed government policy to cull the herds.

After surviving the ice age, the industrial revolution and the slaughterhouse, America's wild horse population is facing a new threat: the U.S. government. The Bureau of Land Management announced this week that it is considering euthanizing wild horses to curb the population on the range and in federal holdi… Continue

PEACE! Love begets LOVE! You get what you give.
If you want acceptance, give acceptance!
Most people are good at sharing through positive attitudes. But more and more nasty mean crap all over this board of the last month mostly is bringin me down.
It's like a Holy War in here where some people are killing others to prove how right they are. And by killing I mean perhaps ruining someone's day, killing the chance of positive exchanges. Are we here to share and learn or just to show off our huge s… Continue
I'ts 2008, do humans really need horses for anything but a mutually loving relationship? "Horses have the intelligence of a four year old child,
and the sensitivity of an autistic child and we in this country (UK) slaughter over thirty - five thousand of them every year, many for human consumption abroad."
Great article, I've extracted some paragraphs (they are random) here but highly recommend reading the whole thing HERE.
