Blessings!
As we head towards fall, it is a great idea to practice foraging for wild edibles in your area and storing them for winter. This can be done in many ways:
*Spring water - this should be a priority. Spring water is an awesome way to connect to your local environment and allow your body to "receive" the vibrational imprint of the area & the Earth's energy. If you have not been able to find a spring in your area, send me a message and I may be able to guide you to a spring in your…

Today I made a salad with green amaranth, lambs quarters, beet greens, spinach, shepherds purse. I added carrots, celery, onions and some olive oil and vinegar. I added spices and some lemons juice and there you have it a yummy wild salad.
This is a good way to save money, eating the wild foods that grow out in nature, your garden or your own back yard.

I was reading about these plants today that can live in extreeme conditions like high altitudes which could be of great value if we have a polar ice shift. It is interesting too that we\raw foodists already know about a lot of these and use them every day- like maca, lucuma, and yacon.
I am adding some others you may not know about now but which may end up being packaged by one of the superfood companies in the near future.
I think it is a good idea for everyone to have a stash of seeds from t…

Mother nature tends to provide us, the human animals, with a plethora of foods that grow around us naturally. Without complicating the preparation of these foods too much, I can say that I best enjoy eating them as they are. Of course, we now call those foods "Wild Edibles", because we've grown so accustomed to eating a diet consisting of domesticated plants.
All the domesticated plats we eat today were once wild plants. Through selective growing, we've now turned prickly and bitter lettuce int…

Recently I discovered that acai gives me hives, so I've been looking to other berries for an antioxidant kick. At the store I found wildcrafted aronia berries.

These are productive and hardy little berries. I encountered some this fall, but stupidly didn't harvest them because I was…

Jess and I woke up this morning and blended up a super high, green smoothie. What an incredible day starter! I went out back and picked some wild plantain and some wild dandelion leaves. I think this is one of the best things you can do, if you can just learn the art, you'll find it to be a magical source of nutrition. your really putting some amazing love into your body. This is a raw fooder secret. We were walking around the market and got some comments, one of the farmers actually said he wou…

Hi y'all! This was a really fun show where we dropped into the "100% RAW Question" and got everyone's take on the healthiest diet, overcoming emotional eating, and even dropped into things like bee-ganism, wild foods, and spiritual awakening. Angela Stokes popped in to say hi, and we listened to some of Sudhananda's inspired music. Check it out! Archives should be available for listening, download and RSS feed within the hour!
Blissings!

Change. We need change. What in the world does that mean!? Change can mean anything. Change in the economy? Change in clothing? Change in hairstyle?
How insane is that? Not as insane as the idea as war! Interestingly enough, if you reverse the word war what do you…
