It stopped me dead in my clipping tracks. On page 18 was an advertorial called Balancing Your Weight, with advice from nutritionist Nikki Hart. The subhead? "Nikki explains… Continue

Angela Swine Flu Crazinessss

I have been affected by the swine but not the flu itself but by the craziness that came with it. I just came back on Monday from a little trip to Mexico which by the way I enjoyed very very much! I had no time to turn on the TV and where I was staying the local radio stations never mentioned anything about it. So it was a big surprise to find out about the swine when I got to the airport. They made us wait for 2.5 hours to check our bags. I thought it was a little unusual but I was still unaware… Continue

Jim Dee ...Because, IMHO, We All Should Learn More About Organic Farming!

When you consider the scary agricultural and marketplace practices that affect the food we eat (e.g., pesticide use in the fields, widespread irradiation afterward, and the contamination of produce from various sources -- not to mention some of the disturbing potentialities we face in terms of further governmental intervention into the food chain), it leads one to the conclusion that, if we really want to eat the best food ever, growing it yourself is a great solution. It's also cheaper to grown… Continue
