AwesomeUniverse!!! Magic Mushrooms!

I just recently read this about mushrooms. I have been thinking about them a lot more since the David Wolfe talk I went to. I think they may be a secret remedy for autoimmune related diseases or tendancies. I bought two products that have mushrooms in them to amp up in this area. I have cancer in my family and just found out that I have high estrogen so this could be the genetic component to the increased incidence in my family of nonsmokers.. Mushrooms block estrogen and can lessen the chances… Continue

Rene Oswald Helping Produce Last Longer

I'm often asked this question, so thought I'd post it: What is the best way to store veggies in the fridge, so they don’t go bad so fast? Thanks, Richard The best way to ensure fresh produce is to purchase from local, organic farmers that has been picked that day. The majority of produce from local grocery stores is 1-2 weeks old by the time it’s purchased. To extend the life of your produce, store in Green Bags (Ever Fresh at http://www.evertfresh.com/ or Debbie Meyer at https://www.gree… Continue

mish Suntanned Mushrooms For 100% Vit D

Vitamin D Fortified Mushrooms By Brierley Wright, Natural Solutions from: http://www.care2.com/greenliving/vitamin-d-fortified-mushrooms.html There are two ways to get vitamin D. You can sit in the sun (sans sunscreen for a few minutes) and soak up the UVB rays, which our skin cells use to make the vitamin. Or you can get it from food. Unfortunately, few foods are rich in D: fatty fish, such as mackerel, sa… Continue

WildAlchemist Who am I voting for?

What a great question! It is MY personal belief than neither candidate will grant their promises—history shows. If you tune into the news (which I would NOT recommend) you will see two pundits bashing against each other like boxers… Change. We need change. What in the world does that mean!? Change can mean anything. Change in the economy? Change in clothing? Change in hairstyle? How insane is that? Not as insane as the idea as war! Interestingly enough, if you reverse the word war what do you… Continue

Nicole Brenny Raw Pumpkin Sushi

Last night Jon and I decided we wanted sushi for a second time this week. Even though I have made it a rule not to eat past 7 pm, (This way I fall asleep faster, give my body a break, have more mental energy & I can do yoga!) raw sushi was calling my name so at 7:15 pm we cracked into the pumpkin that had been staring at us for a week or two and...the magic began. Here are some pictures of this delicious feast! It was one of those meals that was so good that I couldn't help, but be amazed.… Continue

Hi Nicole, How old is your son? As far as diet, I would be giving him plenty of fruit, and plenty of simple salads, including lots of tomatoes and perhaps some celery as both are high in sodium. But as I understand it, salt cravings are usually ...
