I would love to hear about your most fun raw experience. Or most valuable, cherished, memorable, etc.
Was it at Raw Spirit Fest? waking up clear headed and feeling great? A memorable moment with a big beautiful watermelon all to yourself??

Anyone Practice Meditation?
I have been a law professor, magazine editor, and the director of national nonprofit organization. I went to Yale Law School, founded a successful dot-com software company, and have written three books and 200 articles. My childhood nickname was "Chatterduck." But last year, I decided to spend five months on silent meditation retreat, mostly in Nepal.
What, my friends have asked (at least the ones who didn't think I'd lost my mind), is it like to spend five months…

It seems as though everyone is spending overwhelmingly a gross amount of time sitting at a desk on their computers, twitting, tubing,or facebooking all over the place growing new personal communities. Some of us are doing this out of sheer boredom or a desire to escape their daily lives! There must be a downside in terms of how it's affecting our neurological and physiological systems. I will admit that I spend at least three hours on the computer daily. Is this balance and if no…

I just wanted to share a blog post I made. I'm feeling really happy mentally and physically today, but am moving away from 100% raw. I thought some people might find it interesting... or it's just really exciting for me ;)
http://zpoeschl.blogspot.com/2009/03/thursdays-food-im-in-my-happy-place.html
I feel like I only ever post stuff on this site when I'm in distress and looking for advice, so maybe I can offer up some happiness for once instead :)

2009 Focus: Transformation
My focus for 2009 is going to be Transformation, across all areas of my life: career, mind-body, family and home. This focus primarily came about during the Embracing Life! retreat I attended in October. With my mind clearing through the juice fast, I finally realised something I had always known – there’s bigger and more important things that…

After listening to an episode of Rawkin Radio I found myself inspired. During her interview with Ruth Heidrich they discussed what she ate daily as part of her food program. Ruth is a 73 year old woman who is still running marathons.
One thing that she eats at ton of is greens. We al…

It all started in January of last year. I was finishing up with an academic era of my life and moving on to a 7 month period where I knew that I would be working between 40 and 55 hours a week. I noticed that after the Holiday season I had put on a few extra pounds and I was feeling real…

Today My Friends, I thought I would share a little Juicy Inspiration that found me when I most needed it this week. It definitely helped me stay on track and motivated to take care of myself, mind, body, and spirit. Enjoy! : )

I have various sources of inspiration. And it always depends on the day, my mood, whatever, as to who it is I'm drawing inspiration from at that particular moment. I thought maybe if I gave you a peek into some of the people that have inspired me and why, it might help you through a particularly rough day to remember who inspires you. :)

Wow, I can't believe how long its been since I've visited GI2MR! I've had a hell couple of months and really fallen from my high raw lifestyle, which turned into a vicious cycle of depression and beating myself up. I can't tell you when it started, I was eating really well in Jan - Feb (mainly living on Mangoes) and then my hubby and I went back to uni part time and we were sucked into the bad habits we had before going raw - staying at uni late and being too stuffed to come home and uncook so b…
