Ever since I have changed my habits (ie. eating, working out, drinking water) I have noticed that my sleep has gotten better. I now sleep around 6 hours a night, no tossing and turning, just restful sleep. The amount surprises me, because before I trying to get as much sleep as possible, yet never felt good, always sluggish and looking to go back to bed. Alarm clocks were the bane of my being!! I hated when it went off and sometimes dreamed of throwing it out a window!
Now I wake up looking forw… Continue

I've been reading Raw Emotions over the past few weeks and I've been trying to be less controlling about what foods I eat , eating something I think I want and seeing how I feel after and if there are any consequences. I've been about 80% raw the past few weeks and detoxing HEAVILY: dry skin, weird bo, digestion issues and cravings. I haven't acted on any of my cravings yet, I really want to give raws foods a go and see what benefits I experience, but tonight was trying. I've been a vegetarian f… Continue
I just went to The Casbah (8th & Mass) in Lawrence, one of my favorite places in town. All veg, local organic produce, cafe and deli with vegan and raw stuff, everyone who works there is beautiful... I picked up some kale, tomatoes and just tried some of the raw almond hummus they make, yum! I'm gonna have to recreate it at home sometime.
I haven't been working much at all (a few hours this week), but I've been taking full advantage of that time to write music, meditate, ride my bike, read… Continue

Flu Shot or Not?
I have never had a flu shot. Kind of always figured they were for the already vulnerable and elderly. I have also never given it to my kids and, well, they tend to get the flu every year and are miserable and get over it and move on just like I did when I was a kid.
But I have to admit I am start… Continue

What is real life? It feels more real to talk to people for real, and see people, and even wash my dishes for a change, instead of feeling pulled to the computer.
So my internet is turning off in the morning.
I'm going to miss all the info and comraderie around here, and maybe someday I'll be able to handle being on without it becoming too much.
I'm really tired,,,,...........I've been downloading stuff I want and need to go to bed.
Have fun! Continue

I have recently been inspired by one of our own, Stylestacey, to revamp my blog. I'm preparing to go on a journey of a lifetime traveling the world indefinitely with my partner. Check out my blog (now) or in January when I begin my travels. I'll kick it off heading south to Mexico and see what happens from there!
Thanks!

So what is a birth account featuring on a raw food website? My answer would be that many women who follow a raw food lifestyle aim to give birth naturally; that is without drugs and unnecessary medical intervention. Raw food beliefs are intricately connected with birthing beliefs; returning and honouring the Source, the Great Mother and Father. Here's mine.

Angus, It may seem like a piddling point, but I think it's important that we don't call theories "laws". And thanks for the clarification on this one. ----tele
