Update and a conversation
Had an interview on Monday, and there's another one next Thursday.
Looked into volunteering at the CAB again, as they're taking on new people to start in the New Year. They want 2 full days a week for a minimum of 18 months!!!!! How they seriously expect people to do that AND work is a mystery to me...

My birthday
Decided to go to York today, which was a lot of fun - it was such a change being in a different space to Leeds. York just seemed more...open and spacious, not congested with flashy buildings.
It's nearly 11.35 now, and I can look back on a lovely birthday, with unexpected things happening which make me feel smiley and grateful. Thank you all for the warm birthday wishes and love!

One hour and fifteen minutes until...
But...I want other people to accept the place I'm in right now without saying I 'should' be continuing in a dead-end job/looking for a long-term relationship/saving for my 'own' home (which will really be the bank's home until the mortgage is paid off...)

Eleven days til my birthday
Still looking for another one.
Still letting fear from the past threaten the present (in terms of relationships with others) and kicking myself every time I let an opportunity slip through lack of being in the present.
Still getting through.
Detoxing my flat, my body, and my mind as much as I can right now. So grateful to be away from toxic situations/people right now, if only for a bit.

Great hearing from you. I have never been to a fashion vintage fair. Are there many of these organized in UK? What do you love about them? Are you making the best out of waste or designing new stuff out of new fabrics and stuff like that? How is your raw jounrey coming along? Do you also have friends along the similiar jounrney? It is wonderful to have friends.
