I'm in love with life. I love nature, especially cute doggies and exotic fruits! Not that I eat cute doggies. I LOVE warm weather and traveling, riding by bike, living simply, and talking to strangers.

sounds great! yes i want to go to Tamil Nadu and Kerala next year. Sounds like you had the most awesome experience.
Agreed that while travelling to new places our body and energy feels out of our comfort zone. it is only natural to be eating for convention. I felt really lost while travelling near Bhutan last year. i loved the travel but there werent much raw options and i did not even like cooked foodl. so overall i was a bit drained out that way but felt totally amazing in every other way!

This comment suggests that you have not read the book and do not understand the basics of 80/10/10. It also suggests that whoever gave you advice doesn't comprehend the basics of 80/10/10. I suggest you read the book :)
I also suggest you by a cheap food scale and use Nutridiary.com Self-awareness is the cornerstone of health, if we do not know what we are doing we cannot move forward. I guarantee you are getting at least 50% of your calories from fat. You can see my screen shots here:
