Hi Sarah,
I love your blog--it has been fun and helpful to read. Where in Texas are you? I was born in Odessa, grew up in Midland. I live in Washington now.
Hey Sarah ! jUst dropped by to say that i immensely enjoyed the pie. It was frozen but somehow it didnt thicken that much. But no fear, it was great however it was.i like the simplest of simple raw foods and there was no hassle to make it at all. i used the mango puree tho.and i loooovee mangoes and bananas
also, some qstns:
i have read a lot ON the 811 diet and heard a lot about it from people too but the book is not available locally and currently i am unable to order it online due to some dumb credit card probs. anyways thanks for bearing with the patience in advance but am just curious whether calorie counting really matters on this diet! i can eat about 8-10 mangoes at a go for lunch plus a couple of bananas or just about 8 bananas(when there are no mangoes, woe me!) for lunch at times.i dont gain weight with staying moderately active and all but am not losing as much as id like either!so isnt this like eating too much... ?I mean i also eat a couple of fruits and some green smoothies during the rest of the day....So kinda asking!!! What is really the avg calorie count to be maintained in 811 diet if i wanna lose some fat ???am medium framed, moderately active most days and exercise for at least one hr everyday and am 5ft3.
Sorry for bugging you with qstns tho...
much love...

Hi April,
We get a fair number of applicants, and it varies all the time.
It is absolutely NOT required that someone be raw for any length of time. What is required is that someone be truly open and coachable.
This is paradigm-busting stuff bas...

I have read the book and i truly feel like its the best way. its super natural and i want to succeed on it.

I don't think i ate enough greens? How many greens do YOU (personally) eat? and what -- romaine? iceburg? spinach?
and....... how do you eat your greens? smoothies? salads? banana/romaine burrito?
If you could help me, that'd be great. I want to talk to actual people about it.
