Jillian, do you have any proof or research for your claims about spinach, kale, chollard greens, beets, etc, preventing the absorption of iron ? It's too easy to say that without proper reasoning. I have started increasing these greens into my die...
Hi hon. I know I am down more than 2 pounds now WOOHOO!!!! But like you I am not stepping on that scale. My clothes are fitting looser and I feel great.
I hope all is well with you. I have not been on for a while now. But I will be checkin in more often now:)
I'm doing pretty good on my raw journey. I'd like to be more focused. Now that it's spring (less TV, garden more) I hope to be creating a bit more. I've been slacking!
Do you have a dehydrator yet? I wouldn't mind a 2nd one sometimes! ha ha! Just invested in a spiralizer (finally) so now with all the zucchini you have in your fridge you can make "noodles"! I've used the veggie peeler for fettuccini type strips and it works fine too. I'll email you separately about my photo you commented on.
Hi and thank you so much for inviting me, it great to be invited to be a friend. I am on my own road to healthy and love ther idea of raw and do my best to stay on track. the kids and hubby love the green juices so thats a FAB bonus to their health too. I am big into detoxing and am starting to run juice fast weeks in the studios we have in our house in France, I will start with one a month and watch them grow,
I still need to find more dishes I like and easy to prepare for all the family.
Things are super over here! I didn't realize you were here either until I spotted your name on someone else's page (I think) and thought, I wonder if this the same shelbi....and sure enough. I spotted the love of chocolate on your post. ha ha!
Do you find that the protein helps?? That sounds like a good plan. I am starting to track my food on a calorie conuter. I am going to try following the 80-10-10 plan with spring here. I am going to try to stay away from nuts and dried fruit. Lets check in on Wednesday. Weight today-132.6 (lots of water retention too). Can't wait!
Hi hon. It is not going that great-W-133. I have 13 pounds to go to my goal weight. I feel like I try everything and will lose some and then gain it back.(I'll go no fruit, then only fruit)...to much yo yo dieting with raw. I am going to start weighing myself--I never did. I put on this weight in the last year and a half and need to get it off. I would love to keep eachother updated and support eachother.
How are you going about yrou weightloss. You seem to be doing great. I would love to take advice from a pro:)
i am a mommy to 4 beautiful blessings and the blessed wife to a wonderful husband. we live a simple life in sunny california near the ocean. we love the beach most of all and love to surf and camp and hike.
i am overjoyed at finding 'living foods' and i love feeding my family foods with a life force energy. it is love from God above and it warms to my heart to know we serve an awesome God who created all good things for us to eat.
my love speaks 'food' ....to me there is nothing better than watching the faces of friends and family while they enjoy a meal that i have lovingly prepared for them...whether that be a smoothie, green juice, or a simple bowl of fruit. i love to 'feed' people :) there is something deeply spiritual for me and ultimately satisfying in the act of preparing living foods for the ones i love.
what a gift and a priviledge to be alive and to be loved. and what a priviledge to show love to those God places in our path.

I irrigate my nose with salt water after almost every shift. I use a little bit of salt with my toothpaste every now and again. My silver fillings are pretty stable and I've noticed a metallic taste in my mouth whenever I use salt so I don't. Clov...
I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.
Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...
hi honey,
we did an experiment in school with ear candles. we set up one with a real person, followed directions perfectly...set up another the same way but instead of putting it in someones ear we just held it against a pillow...both candles had...
they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.
Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found.
I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen.
Healing with whole foods is a great start..
