I wouldn't argue the point.

My perfect birthday day!
But wait there's more - I'm gonna include my birthday eve as well.

On my birthday eve:
*Get up early and do my morning routines. Maybe be up early enough to drink some tea with my mom before she goes to work. And up early enough to visit with my dad before he goes to work.
*Make my Cafe Gratitude Raw German Chocolate Cake
*Taste test my Cafe Gratitude Raw German Chocolate Cake
*Maybe hit up Cafe Bliss for lunch (A NEW RAW RESTAURANT IN DALLAS!)
*Try not to eat my entire Cafe Gratitude Raw German Chocolate Cake before my actual birthday

My Grandmother is trying to put together a family party for that night. Which would be awesome. My family is tons of fun and we'll play games, tell stories and laugh. Marie and Ben will come up from Austin so it'll be the whole gang.

Saturday. My natal day:
*Get up early. Do my morning routine (superbrain yoga, five tibetan rites, oil pulling, red potato water.. I think that's it)
*Sit around and chat with me ma and pa
*Eat my German Choc. cake for breakfast? Maybe.
*Hear from my friends/family via phone, mail, internet, in person
*Open any gifts that might be around (and that are for me)
*Hit up Cafe Bliss for lunch
*Visit with my Grandparents

I'll have to think up anything else unusual that I might want to do.

I hope you have an absolute blast!
Can't wait to hear all about your trip and see the pics!

I faxed all the paperwork to the bank last week.
The impersonal woman I spoke with said it takes them 4-6 weeks to process the requests. Then they send out a letter telling you si o' no.
If I haven't heard anything by the 3rd week of July I will start pestering them. Gotta love it.

My vacation is only 8 days away. Baby steps to eight days from now.

FYI

Hey people,
Just a short FYI about my raw food journey and why my posting here has become less and less frequent. That is, if anyone has really noticed. :)

I don't like this 100% raw bit anymore. It no longer seems to be working for me. I can hardly eat anything raw anymore that doesn't hurt my stomach besides my green juice and smoothie every day and the occasional salad. So I've drifted to something that resembles macrobiotics after breakfast, with the occasional inclusion of fish (P.S. This… Continue

Feeling Really Good: Shh, keep it down!

What: silence.
Why it makes you feel really good: because it's a total vacation from the noise and hustle of our lives and without vacations, we'd never get anything done!

This weekend, set your alarm for 6 a.m. on Sunday morning. Get out of bed, out of the house, and go to the nearest par… Continue

Feeling Really Good: The nose knows (enough with the corny puns already!)...

What: your favorite smell.
Why it makes you feel really good: the theory of aromatherapy states that aromas influence the brain to prevent or relieve diseases and symptoms, especially those of the feeling-really-not-good variety.

What's your favorite sm… Continue
